thanks for that. i must have another look through the mag, although i only find things to buy that i dont really need.

i am not sure whether to get it, might try the neurofen tonight.

i just really can't say i find anything works. i do think rather favourably about a product i bought back home, only have a bit left so will ask mum to bring some with her

If you google the active ingredients, you should be able to find out what they are called here and then if you ask the pharmacist they might be able to tell you if there is anything like it available here.

I haven't been on for so long a new thread was started and your into the 400's :eek:
Life is so hetic here i don't know if i am coming or going sometimes, and i swear my car can make it's own way to the hospital. I wish i could get a season ticket for the car park. I dread to think the money we have spent on parking. Harry is 10 weeks old today and i feel i just haven't had time to enjoy him. I am always doing something.

The HV is very concerned with his weight he is 8lbs 8oz and didn't put any thing on last week at all. He is seen every week at home still.
Fingers crossed he has put some on on wednesday as there was talk off him going back to hospital for a stay to monitor his milk intake and maybe put a feeding tube back in even though he is currently still under the consultant.
Hopefully he will have put on a bit of weight as he has had a chest infection for the last 2 weeks so that has affected him. He was breast fed with the odd top up's as HV big on breast feeding and didn't want him on formula at all and i was told to ween him off the top up's but then he didn't put on weight so a different HV saw him and told me to offer him a breast feed but then also give him as much formula as he will take. So he is having 4oz at every feed. This has made him not really interested in breast feeding and in less than a week of having more formula i can tell i am not producing as much milk and my periods have now returned.
I was quite sad about them coming back. It's was like the end of something does that make sense?
I Know it isn't good him not putting on weight but he is and everyone says it. A really happy, content little boy. Everyone in my family are around 5 ft. me and my dad are only 4ft 10 and my other son is also very small but the HV doesn't seem to take family history into acount. Mum says i was forever being checked as i was so thin and small. Sorry waffle over just had to get it out.

Sorry to hear that some of us are struggling at the moment- all I can really add is that it is just a phase, whatever it is, it will pass.

MFD- big hugs to you and your poorly back. I know how miserable it is, and I am sure that a holiday will do you the world of good. Have you been away with Benjamin before? How exciting!

Tia- I don't really have anything to add but I'm sure your DS knows you love him very much. My family aren't particularly lovey-dovey, although my Mum and I say I love you. What counts is I know they are there when I need them, even my emotionally crippled dad. My in-laws are very touchy-feely, but I'm not sure my OH feels his family are there for him in the same way I do with mine, so it's not all about shows of emotion.

On the subject of favourites, my Mum always used to call her dog her best girl :rotfl:. I know she didn't mean it, but OH used to find it hilarious.

Emotional dominoes- another fabulous analogy from the lovely Weezl :T. I think it is so true, and I think everyone feels it a bit. My glue is my marriage- my Mum is on her third marriage, Dad on his second and I know a lot of friends didn't ever expect me to get married. But OH and I have been together for 10 years, married two and we are still deliriously happy.

I BOUGHT A JUMPEROO :j. We took H to Toys R Us and tried him in one. He seemed to love it, so I bought one for a bargainous £70 on eBay, brand new. Now just need to sell some bits on eBay to pay for it.

ARGGGGHHHH.

Some other oil company just bought over OH's company (which just got bought by someone else last year) and they already have NWD (or whatever it is called) department, so what that means for OH's job, who knows.

Can't see why they would keep his department on when they have a more advanced one themselves.

Just be fab if he was made redundent

I have made mistakes and done things which other people would find hard to understand so I don't feel in a position to judge anyone else.

i dont judge her i just dont like her and the person she is .. i understand she'll never change its who she is and that i cant have her in my life as she takes everything from me or poops on what i have ... i tried many times but me thought is a mother is suppose to be always there for you but my mother never was unless i had money x

Tia i think it's an age thing. I have been a bit confused about everything lately, my DS has always been very loving and tells me he loves me all the time. I tell him too and ask for kisses, but just lately he seems so much more grown up and it's weird. I couldn't work out if it was cos of Amber's arrival.

He says it so much that sometimes i cba to say it back. If i'm busy and not really concentrating on what he's saying i'll reply with "yeah" (ya know, bog standard answer for not listening) and he'll go in a sulk and i'll have to convince him that i do love him lol!

He doesn't give me kisses as much though i have to ask for them now, but i don't do it as much as i used to. Sometimes i feel super guilty when i'm slobbering (:D) all over Amber and he watches, cos i feel like i'm leaving him out.

He's just grown up all of a sudden and it's not the same as being all kissy with a little one.

But my mother has never ever hugged or kissed me so i want to glue that domino In fact if she ever did i'd be sick, it would just be weird.
