    Morning :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELLE!! Any plans for today? Other than getting up at 7am!

Think we're going to the childminders this afternoon. She text me last week about sorting out some settling in sessions for Caitlyn, so need to arrange some times with her :( It's all coming too fast! I'm dreading it too because Caitlyn won't stay with anyone else at the minute.

Think I have a poopy baby, back later x

Sorry Elle, I didn't realise it was your birthday:beer:, I hope you have a good one with some pampering :)

I've been mulling on your PM BTW, just got a bit of a head full at the mo, but will come up with some recipes soon :)

Yay for settling in sessions :D

Well so far so good we've drank a 5oz bottle and it seems to be staying down. Kinda like my eyes! I'm not very good on little sleep.

MIL has kindly said she'll take Daniel even if he's still ill. So I think we'll see how he is at 8.30 and then either phone the docs or take him to grandmas.

Happy Birthday Elle xx Have a wonderful day xx

Thankyou :) Not really plans, just getting Rhys' room more sorted and being able to watch Eastenders in peace is all I've asked for! :o (does that make me odd?) Made OH extremely happy cos my present apparently hasn't arrived yet. Am not bothered, I know what it is (well I think I do!) so will just be nice when it gets here :)

Thankyou sweetie :) No rush on the recipes :) xx

Hope both Caitlyn and Fergie get on okay with their new CMs :D

Happy Birthday Elle - hope you have a lovely day xx

Beanie - hope the cat turns up soon. I'd be frantic if one of my dogs vanished.

Buttons - ignore your Mam. You're a fantastic Mam to Keira and don't let anyone tell you differently.

I'm getting my hair done as I type. I'm perched on the edge of my hair and Charlotte is standing behind me brushing it and fastening random hair clips into it :D
Here I go again on my own....

Can you long term BFers still feel the letdown reflex? I can't, haven't done for ages and ages.. dunno if thats normal or odd
No. Can't remember when I stopped feeling it but I think it may have been by somewhere around six months.

Oh I know what I meant to ask.. what do two year olds drink out of? Open top mugs and glasses by then or still beakers with tops on? (I have noooo idea! :o)
Alice just drinks out of a normal glass but everyone else I know seems to think they need lidded cups until at least school age.

:grouphug: to Buttons too. (I somehow managed to miss the last page when I posted.) It is totally understandable to be upset and bothered by what she says even though you know what she says is not true. I don't know whether it is because parents are supposed to love you and care about you etc. or because for so long you have to take notice of them and do what they say but they do have a power to hurt you with things which wouldn't be hurtful if some random person said it. I can only imagine how heartbreaking it must be watching Ellie have to put up with some of the same things as you did but at least she has you there as someone who cares and can provide a bit of normality for her. I don't know whether I've ever mentioned it before but I really admire how you are such a good parent despite the experiences you had growing up.

Buttons What Weezl and Susan said. :o You're a lovely Mum to a beautiful, happy, funny little girl, and a brilliant big sister too. :)

Both DH and Daniel are still not well, Daniel hasn't kept a bottle or any food down all day. I got projectile vomited into my eye and mouth before hows that for I love you mummy!! Trip to the docs for both of them in a few hours methinks.

Poor DH and Daniel. Are you feeling ok now Dora. Was it Friday you were feeling poorly too?

Happy Birthday Elle - I hope you get suitably spoilt.

Weezl You just reminded me. I think i'll try your meatballs today, when I find the other thread.

My big girl has walked to school on her own today (with two boys from her class) and i'm being a big worry-pants.
She's been nagging on about it for months, and mentioned it to my Mum yesterday. Rather than back me up, Mum told L I walked to school alone from 7 :(.

    Tara :T for Granny cuddles.

ETA: I've just remembered. Does anyone else worry that RL people stalk them through MSE and read posts? After my moaning last week about my Mum and MIL doing nothing useful when V was born, when Sami (for example) is spoiled rotten by hers.
Mum turned up yesterday with a homemade corned beef & onion pie for us, an hour later MIL turned up with a homemade banana and sultana cake. :D
