  • To be honest Glam I dont think there is a set time, I know with Lexi I tried her on bigger lumps and she just spat it out so I went back to puree. How about trying a small lumpy meal for lunch (unless he has eaten already?) If he doesnt take to it you can go back and puree some more?

    thanks!

The first purees I made were a bit lumpy cos I didn't have the blender so he has had the odd lump here and there. I think I'll make them all a tad lumpy for 6m onwards and if he doesn't like it I can also whizz it with the blender as and when I use it.

Note to self - next time I feed J mango have someone there to hold him down! :rotfl:He couldn't stop flapping his arms about!

I know SM I made a list of things to do and although Im doing things I dont seem to be getting very far. Im fed up and cant be bothered, its been a long week LoL!

Iv changed Js sheets washed them and there in the dryer
Stripped the highchair down and put it in the washer
Done the dishes and mopped the kitchen
    Made Bottles
Sorted the cupboard of death in the dining room
    Sent some emails
Shredded a load of documents and letters

I need to make dinner and clean the dining room, just cant be bothered :(
Also need to finalize and proof read brothers business plan.

Not had any lunch yet so think I will do that first - anything to get out of doing stuff :)

whilst making my lunch I have put some brocolli & cauli on to steam!

I should be the size of a house, I am currently making my way through a bowl of tomato soup with cheese in and most of a small french stick and have a chocolate mousse for pud :o

Glam have you tried stuff he can hold himself my little man loves a bit of toast in the morning and often has steamed carrot sticks and other veggies. As a side point I even give him big raw lumps of carrot straight out the fridge when he is teething he obviously cant eat those yet but he seems to get some relief from gumming them :-)
