Weezl - I hope Fergie is OK, hypothetically speaking of course
Have my fairies arrived yet? They seem to be very slow!
said hypothetical baby seems absolutely finewill be amusing to see how the little man manages to pass his hefty butt plug
:D
No fairies Glam. But AF's flew for a long arduous journey too and were a while longer than she thought, so maybe it's a national fairy strike?! xxx

The world has gone mad!

Glad he's ok Weezl.X
DD just rang, it seems the hospital has run out of rooms and the mums are being told to leave today. Because of the fuss we made DD is at a Ronald McDonald house across the road so she's fine but 3 other Mums in the hospital have been asked to go. They've also been told that if they can't make the trip each day, hour and half for one Mum, then the babies will be put onto formula. It's so sad, I'm really upset for them! The family support worker said would never happen and in all the time she worked there she had never known a Mum having to leave. More 'porkies' me thinks!!!Too many children, too little time!!!0 -

Tara I'm so glad this doesn't apply to DD after all your hard work championing her cause, but this is an outrage! I'm so shocked I don't know what to type!
PS I'm sorry that on your other thread I referred to you as the OP in a more distant way. I did it because I didn't want people to think I was sticking up for you cos you're my friend, but more cos I think you're right! Hope that made sense anyway! xxx

What she said. Both parts.
I feel so awful for those other mummies - would DD be comfortable sneaking the far-away one into her Ronald McDonald room? Is there anything that can be done?
Edit: tell your DD to call the local news and possibly the national news immediately. There's still time for the evening news, and the threat of it should force the hospital to do something. I can imagine the Daily Mail and the Sun would be willing to pay some money towards B&B accommodation in exchange for a good story.SS Have you read this?
