  • Last session of hydro is next Tuesday, think I am going to have to take the plunge literally !! and go to the pool with him, as he really does love the water, and I think it is doing him the world of good !!
Physio still every 2 weeks, and as far as we know, this will continue untill at least his 2nd birthday. Need to go back to occ therapy next month as he still isnt sitting properly, even with support, so we may have to relook at a few things, and am also waiting on his eye test to see if he needs uber cute glasses !!

Oh and we also have the peadiatrician next week as his reflux has taken a turn for the worse again in the last 3 weeks !!

    Busy Busy Busy !!

Really?! Wow, I just have Jack in a long sleeve vest and a normal sleepsuit (cos I've not got any fleece ones in 3-6months) then a sleeping bag.
Think I will definitely put a blanket on him tonight then!

K wears same as J with a 2.5 tog sleeping bag and no blanket. Even with a blanket on he still wakes up if they room is cold as its the breathing the cold in thats wakes him IYKWIM??
I have the heating set to come on for 1 hr at 2.30am and that keeps the chill off the house til 7.30am when the heating comes on for an hr again, but i have a non-standard build house that retains the heat well.

Sleep? What's that? I'm trying hard to remember cos I've not seen any for a while! :(

Last night woke about 8 times between 2am and 6am YAWN!

Wondering if it's because he's cold, his room gets quite cold in the early hours of the morning - sometimes down to 14-15 degrees. I might pop a blanket over his sleeping bag when I go to bed and see if that helps tonight.

Just found a box of maltesers and am gutted cos they are a month OOD and have all clumped together :( (hasn't stopped me eating them though :o)

What does Jack wear under his sleeping bag? That does seem quite chilly. I generally put a blanket over Henry's sleeping bag when I go up to bed if the temp has dropped below 17 degrees.

Doh, just seen your update Glam!

Susan- I might hire a carpet cleaner but I am just being lazy!

On the other end of the spectrum: Theres a girl 2 wks younger than K that from 16 wks can roll herself front to back and back to front again!!!

Where does she get these things from? I've come to the conclusion that half of what Alice says only makes sense if you've read Winnie the Pooh, Thomas the Tank Engine and the Bible.

I've no idea! She just makes up random babbly stuff but it's really funny.

When my parents were away she kept singing a song about a gingerbread man. The first verse is garbled but then chorus goes "he runs, he runs, he runs, he runs, he runs" then another garbled bit, then "he wants, he wants, he wants, he wants, he wants" and some more garbled bits.

Neither of us knows what the song is and we've never heard it on childrens TV programmes (been listening out for it!) and we had a look at gingerbread man songs on You Tube and couldn't find it. Came to the conclusion it was something she learned at the group my Mam takes her to.

I've asked my Mam about it as she was singing it when my Mam was round the other day, but my Mam has no idea what it is either.

I wouldn't have thought she would make up a lengthy song with verses and choruses, but it seems she has.
Here I go again on my own....

Oh I know he isnt miles out of any age related things, but because of his muscle and balance issues, and he is still showing no signs of improvement, we are getting another referral. Its not a big thing in any way :) My baby boy will have me running to various appointments for the next year or so, most of which are for no particular reason !!

if anyone is interested, physios are not overly concerned at a baby not sitting with support untill they are 10 months !!

SS - I wouldn't even be answering the phone if it were me :o

My Stokke was delivered there because it was UK delivery only and she was trying to get the courier's details, otherwise I'd have let it ring and ring and ring :o
