Benjamin is currently in size 3-5.5 socks :D

Well after a day of mummy and MIL and only a 40 min nap Benjamin fell asleep having his bottle with daddy at 6.45pm so no BF tonight!!!

Wow, putting the plan in place straightaway!

Jack has 2 longish naps but sometimes need a 3rd power nap. Tends to sleep 10am - 11am then 1.30pm - 2.30pm - length varies from 45mins to 90mins though. Sometimes he needs a mini nap around 4-5pm but only 30mins. Then bed between 7.30pm-8pm. Although tonight he was pooped and fell asleep having his bottle so only had 3oz!

I was looking at Thomas the Tank Engine socks, btw, and those were the two sizes they had left in stock :o It's the aforementioned friends' (vitamin-deficient *ahem* ;)) son's birthday soon and I'm making him a gift bag of lots of little presents :)

Re: tap water, I've found (now I'm bothering to get the sippy cup out! :o) Rhys drinks a lot more if it's icy cold from the tap than boiled and cooled :)
  • Evening!

Seems like all babies are exhausted tonight! I'm just enjoying the second Holby of the week, having munched on my nom, nom caramel, cinnamon crunch ice cream.

I've made my veggie moussaka for the in-laws tomorrow. Henry and I are meeting mummy and baby friends in the morning, then in-laws in the afternoon.

OT- has anyone had their carpets professionally cleaned? Is it expensive? Ours is in a very sorry state but i CBA to replace it!

You're not self-indulgent at all, it's horrible to go back to work

He's much better, thanks, more so because they did his blood counts and such and he knows he's healthy enough now. I think the worrying made it worse.

I've just been ignoring my mother, and it's clearly getting to her. I'm waiting for her to up her game so I can be sure of the moral high ground before I talk to her. She pointedly ignored all his background talking while she was on the phone earlier and sooner or later she'll be unable to resist saying something b!tchy and then I'm going to point out that I respected her choice to defriend him but she has no right, no right at all to inflict her unasked-for opinions on me.

It's a weird game we play...

Glam - hows the sleeping ??

Sleep? What's that? I'm trying hard to remember cos I've not seen any for a while! :(

Last night woke about 8 times between 2am and 6am YAWN!

Wondering if it's because he's cold, his room gets quite cold in the early hours of the morning - sometimes down to 14-15 degrees. I might pop a blanket over his sleeping bag when I go to bed and see if that helps tonight.

Just found a box of maltesers and am gutted cos they are a month OOD and have all clumped together :( (hasn't stopped me eating them though :o)
