And even then it doesn't automatically mean there's a problem - my OH didn't sit till 11 months but there weren't any problems.

If you're tucking it in then it's just like a very thick blanket. I think the issue is if they are using a quilt the way we would use one as then they could get under it which would be dangerous.

Yes! I was considering having an Independent Midwife but will probably go for NHS homebirth with a doula.

No but presumably it is about the fact that it is common to lose weight initially but that is not shown on the charts? (My HV was astonished when she weighed Alice at ten days thta she had gained 6oz.)

I work for different field marketing agencies so the work varies a lot depending on what I pick up.

The ones today are part of an ongoing project where a particular store wants information on what it's competitors are up to. I can't name stores though - sorry. Now I'm studying business strategy I can understand why they want the information!

Also do mystery shopping which is going in and reporting back on service and stuff in store as a customer. Auditing - sign in as a visitor and collect data on displays, stock and stuff like that. Merchandising - sign in as a visitor and try and get as much of the product on sale, sometimes involves building secondary displays like putting up those cardboard stands you see or putting up posters or stickers on the shelf edge to encourage people to buy. It's hard work and not that well paid sometimes, but I love it, can pick and choose what I want to do and it's so flexible which is brilliant with the bairns and uni.

He's a good boy for his Mum, it's just other people he doesn't like. (And he's a fan of young ladies with big boobies ).

I think the problem with the taxi driver and escort on the first day is that like a lot of people, because J doesn't speak, they assume he doesn't understand either. I don't think it occured to them to say 'J, get on your seat and put your seatbelt on' - it works for me.

I do a little bit of mystery shopping, but only through one company. Nothing interesting although I did get a wash, cut and blow yesterday at an expensive salon where I wouldn't normally go. And last week I got a cheese & onion pasty and a ring donut! Not really enough to earn a living though.

Whoever took him, please can I have my sleeping son back? He was asleep on OH (who was sat in his huge comfy computer chair, wide awake I hasten to add) 10.30pm-2am until OH decided to go to bed and it was the move to his crib that did it, I think (or it woke him up enough for him to remember he has a snotty nose anyway). He normally goes back to sleep within ten minutes of the move and is never any trouble, but last night he just roared and roared OH took him away in the end - I thought they were only walking the hallway but apparently they were up until 4am (by which time I was well asleep ) and Rhys was awake again before 8am and only quiet again after a bottle *confused* Bring back my ten hour straight sleeping baby!

Now I'm going to sit here and drink tea until it comes out of my ears, and might go to clinic later depending what time Rhys wakes up again. We're going to a soft play centre later with friends too.

elle i have a massive cup for days like that bought it from whitards for £3 ...

this morning philip is still in bed ... jaydens had breakfast and currently distoryed the dogs paws so much by running over them in his walker thats hes now lieing next to me on the sofa :rotfl: ...

i wanna do something today but dont know what ... just dont fancy being stuck indoors ... im booooored :rotfl: x

I cant believe it!! she is walking around with her doll and pram and a big grin on her face looking at us all like we have lost the plot :rotfl:not sure if i should go to toddlers or not? i put nail varnish on last night and it reacted so i was peeling it off and its now a mess and no remover left?

Mine only worry about baby dropping below birth centile. LO went from just under 50th centile to the 99.6th. He was exclusively breastfed though, so they weren't worried, but wanted him weighed fortnightly. He is now dropping back towards the 50th.

Talking of funny centiles - LO wasn't on the chart for length at birth, then went well over the top line! Must measure him again.

We can now say four words (knowing the meaning)!
