OT- has anyone had their carpets professionally cleaned? Is it expensive? Ours is in a very sorry state but i CBA to replace it!
Have you considered buying a carpet cleaner? We were required by our rental contract to either clean the carpets ourselves or use a professional cleaner when we left and the house we bought had scabby carpets so we bought one and it did a pretty decent job.

Charlotte was getting tucked into bed by me, and she kept saying she had something important to tell Dad. He came all the way upstairs to be told in a stern voice "don't poke worms with sticks" :rotfl:

.. elle - hows everything in general ?? Any drop in meds ??

We're all good ta, MM :) No more meds dropped but that only happens after blood tests and we're down to one of those a month :) Next one is in about ten days and shortly afterwards we're seeing the kidney specialists too so hopefully find out more about the future milk situation :o

Has Dylan finished all of his physio and hydro yet? :)

Really?! Wow, I just have Jack in a long sleeve vest and a normal sleepsuit (cos I've not got any fleece ones in 3-6months) then a sleeping bag.
Think I will definitely put a blanket on him tonight then!

MM... NOOOOO!!!! I'm not really wanting a new pram, but I can still look at stuff eh?

I do need cheap hangers for Ambers clothes and storage boxes. The wardrobe thing came today and I built it up.

Did I mention that my daughters favourite game is lying down so mummy can lay outfits over her and decide what she has to wear? :D She giggles like mad!

And she is still in our room but is getting too big for the crib. I don't want her to move out yet :(

Where does she get these things from? I've come to the conclusion that half of what Alice says only makes sense if you've read Winnie the Pooh, Thomas the Tank Engine and the Bible.

  • Good evening you lovely lot :D

It occured to me today that I have been quite self indulgant with my whole work thing recently and have been ignoring everyone else so from memory I will ask a few questions, but do not be offended if i have left you out, I dont really keep up any more !!

    MFD - hows hubby ??

He is a pain in the a$$ as it happens!!!

We had words when we went to bed last night (anyone else ignore a problem all evening only to stop biting your tongue once you are in bed? :o) because he isn't giving himself enough time to recover. Today, less than 2 weeks after his surgery he drove himself to the office, to the accountant (which I knew about) and then went ONTO SITE to check how the lads were doing  I could slap him, I really could.

On the up side, my SILs mother is having a party on Sat night and I have told hubby that if he is well enough to drive then he can drive me and the kids to the party and I will have a drink for a change ;)

Also - whilst I was at the docs today I summoned up the courage to ask about the results of my test results (bloods and ultra-sound I had a while back to check my internal organs) and I am completely normal :T:T What a relief :o

You deserve to be self-indulgent for a while chick, you are having a rough time and you have supported us all along the way xxx

Wondering if it's because he's cold, his room gets quite cold in the early hours of the morning - sometimes down to 14-15 degrees. I might pop a blanket over his sleeping bag when I go to bed and see if that helps tonight.

Benjamin seems to wake more when his room gets cold. Have you considered getting an oil filled radiator?

SS - I wouldn't even be answering the phone if it were me :o
