Elle, is it your local mumsnet/netmums that you saw one for £120? I'd really love a linkie/phone/number or sommat if not! Also going to PM sarah joanne.

Erm, SJ or anyone else, I'm afraid I don't actually know SJs birth story :o because I've been avoiding birth stories for a bit after reading a horrendous one and scaring myself too much. So it may well be that it could be a bad idea to ask SJ for hers, in which case I am hugely sorry, but I think I'm going to go for it anyway?:)

    Overthinking it weezl?

    Heavens yes!

Got you here first! Yes I was in the pool for the majority but after way too long pushing I got out to be examined and bubs had turned  so off to hospital we went.

Pool was fab though. I'm happy to lend you mine if you cover the cost of getting it to you and then back to me but I never fixed the puncture in the top ring. The heat cover also had a puncture but not so important and we managed to "fix" that with parcel tape :o. You would just need to buy a liner for it.

I am going to get around to writing my birth story soon before the memoru fades. If I've still not done it by next week can someone remind me please?!

Thank you! What's a liner and how do I get one?:o:) Guessing the top ring puncture is a very slow one if you laboured mostly in the pool?

Sorry things went horrid at the end.

    Hello :hello:

That walking 6 month old baby reminds me of my cousin, who walked the day before she turned 7 months  I was babysitting at the time and nobody believed me cos she didnt do it again for another month :(

After just over a week of Seth waking every 2-3 hours through the night, he slept from 8pm til 7pm this morning? Odd baby. I am not going to argue though :rotfl:

Big news here - after lots of deliberation and talking it through last week while OH was on holiday, we have decided that if OH's work agrees to cut his hours, we will do a complete role reversal, I will go back to work full time and OH will stay at home with Seth and work part time hours. We will be better off financially by £200-£300 a month, and Seth is better behaved on Daddy Days. Oddly, I really am ok with it, the only reason I didnt want to go back full time is cos I didnt want Seth to be mostly brought up by CM, so providing it doesnt mean he will be going to the CM more I am happy :)

How is everyone? Have I missed any gossip?

Yeah it was a slow one. DH topped it up not long before I got in it and I think that lasted us. I was in it from 5pm til maybe 11.30pm-ish

You could feel that the top ring wasn't as firm but it wasn't too bad.

Thanks. It was hard mentally as I was fully dilted by 9pm but didn't progress from there. MW kept saying how it wouldn't be long and still nothing happened. It was hard to keep going when I felt like it wasn't making any difference (and in fact it wasn't making any difference!!)

Tara, Bliss were pretty useless, they said it's common practice not to provide food, which from the other thread we know to be false. They did say that if your DD needs support to call them, and if you want I can forward the email by PM.

    hi em

that sounds fun with OH at home all day - will he do all the housework as well?
OH wonders how I manage to get anything done when I'm home with J's attention span!

SJ - writing it all down might help you get your head around it all :)

Weezl - yay for sorting a pool :j

Glam, he does more than I do when he is at home :o I tend to do the laundry and wipe the sides down, but he does the rest! I said I'd keep on with the cooking, cos I do it while he baths Seth every evening, and if he took that over we'd end up living on chicken dippers and chips again, no thanks!
