I don't think I OH could cope with a Homebirth - nowhere for him to run to if he needed to!
I really don't know how he would have coped with a long labour, he was only really there for the last hour and even then was like 'Come On, PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSH!' But that was probably because it was a case of Jack had to get out quickly.
Plus he could !!!!!! off home at night for a decent sleep!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

I have a man coming today to measure up the windows... Can't even get to the bedroom window for crap in the way at the minute... I'm very annoyed with hubby who absolutely promised the week before last that we would tidy the bedroom last weekend and move some of the furniture like I've been asking him to do for weeks... And now I'll be doing it all myself whilst looking after both children because he couldn't be arsed to drag himself off the xbox ALL weekend...
:eek::eek::eek:
You said arsed!!!!
Can we say arsed?
ARSED, ARSED, ARSED
I like it...it trips off the fingers :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I had paracetamol, codeine and morphine, all within the same day but not at the same time - I asked for paracetamol and they'd suggest I had a morphine jab (_pale_) instead so that I didn't have too many paracetamol in a day... Like I still wanted paracetamol after a shot of morphine!
Time to wake the dinky one again. First attempt was met with a stroppy teenager look, cheeky scamp!0 -
MFD - u been on them blue smarties again?

Thats a lot of arsed for this early hour!
We've got needles this afternoon, Hib & MenC? I'm not looking forward to these ones as she's big enough to know it hurts.
I might get her weighed too, she's not been done since May.
Ooh, and I should ask if we're getting a 12 month check too.:beer:0 -

Ooo - hope V is okay, apparently chocolate buttons are a natural painkiller... There is a doc near me who gives babies 1/2 a choc button before their baby jabs - one of my friends nearly burst a blood vessel when he did it to her 12 week old
Not sure if it applies to white ones though?
We are going to be weighed tomorrow :T do we think my little chunk is heavier than your lovely girlie?please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Hey! Kristallong time no speak:hello:
short answer: Nope!
long answer: no base padding, and even camping mattresses underneath pool with Fergie still left me with no sensation in my kneecaps for a fortnight after Ferg
also liking the idea of thermometer, because we were only allowed more hot after MW was willing to test temp of water. And I really felt the need of the extra hot!
Also read that you can actually bite the sides of a birth pool, but the argos one will puncture!
Obviously, needs must and all that, and if in a rush I'd just have to squat down by my sofa and cope! But I'm trying to choose something to make it all as ok as it can be if poss? Does that make any sense?

Hmm, maybe I could sell my chocci button mountain to the Nurse?
My bet is on your chunk being chunkier than my little dainty girly (despite her interesting diet at Nanas).
She went yesterday to Nanas instead of Wednesday. Nana brought her back and told me she's so clever, she can do fruitshoots!.:beer:0 -

A noble goal.
Don't say that, if the Germans hear it they'll be giving me those instead of ibu the next time :rotfl:
