foot still sore they think they got it all out but i dont as it has a stabbing pain when i put it down, so im still walking funny lol!
I would go back if you think there's still some there. When I had glass in my foot they practically couldn't tell it was there because it was so small but I couldn't walk on my foot with it in and once it was out I was fine.

  • AF - hugs, I haven't gone back to work so I really don't know how you are feeling, yet :( Hopefully someone will be along soon to help!

Feelie - Lovely pic, they do look like they have been caught do something they shouldn't

Good advise given about talking to the babies, I always do this. I usually make a comment such as "hello cutie" and then introduce Liam to the baby IYSWIM

Still catching up, but going to say that I hate you Beenie :p...Finn was actually pretty good last night, but when I put him down after his 2am feed we then went into this weird thing where I couldn't tell if he was asleep or awake in his basket as he kept making these really weird squeaking/grunting noises and moving around. He usually does these noises when he's waking up or about to cry, but he did them for 1.5 hours!! So great he didn't cry, but also I didn't sleep as they were so loud they kept me awake - and I'm not sure whether he was asleep or awake either! Anyone else's baby do/done this? I admit I felt like I was going mad as desperately just wanted to sleep...

AF have *hugs* i really dont know what to say but your a great mummy and im sure LO appriciates everything you do for her x

3 when i was younger i started to get migrains, i would have flashing lights and loose my sight, i had to make myself sick to get it to lift and would sleep for 12 hours +. we were told its a hormone thing in girls and that most people grow out of it, there is a regular medication she can get if it does become regular. i hope it is a one off though!

    Feelie Lovely pic.

Beenie Did you get the instruction DVD with the freedom sling? Is it the pouch one? If you search ebay for it, the original seller is still on there with lots of photos of babies in them - tbh the do look a bit squished, but apparently its comfy for them.

AF ((Hugs)). I went back to work full time after my first two and remember hating it. I just kept my head down, did my job and ignored all the office politics. Is looking for the same job with a different company (different staff) an option? Maybe a happier workplace and a new challenge would help you? (Sorry, I can't remember if you've said what you do?)
I'm sure you've already considered all the options - but is part time an option? Even one day less might help?

Nooo - I don't want my little girl to get hormones. :(

I'll have to ask my mum when my migraines started, I assumed it was a the same time as periods (13) as they're hormone related.

Mine have got less (hopefully) with age, it used to be two days every month. Now, fingers crossed its one every 6 months. Yours sound very similar - nothing helps except being sick, or sleeping. :(

  • Hi SM thank you for the kick up the bum x Hi Glam thank you for sending your best wishes. Feelie, I am so glad you and Toby enjoyed Nanny time.x

Hi to everyone else, I do keep up (just struggle to communicate) .
Oscar is nearly 6 months old and a joy to have (most of the time). He has 2 teeth ( and I have ordered a Sophie on all your reccommendations) and seems to be hitting most milstones.

While i'm here and hogging the thread anyway, i have a question.

Has anyone, or anyones naughty OH been on a Driving Course after a speeding fine?
I've been offered one; the choice is 3 points and a £60 fine, or attend this half day driving course for £88 and get no points.
I'm just curious as I don't know anyone who's been on one.

Aless, yeah she does fuss/grunt but that's when i shove the dummy in and hope for the best because by that point my eyelids are trying to knit together :rotfl:

When i put her down last night she was all wide open eyes and kicking around, so i tucked her blankets in tight so she couldn't move much (lol) and turned the lights off, held the dummy in, she fell asleep within 15 mins. She was whiney all evening again before that though.

I didn't get a dvd but i'm assuming the youtube stuff was similar, if not the same. She doesn't look comfy and cries :o I'll keep trying though.

TBH, I think all babies looked squished in pouch slings...give it a few tries to get her used to it and she might find she likes it :)
