SM, after my dad leaves on Saturday, I am deffo joining your BWSC. This extra skin around my middle is not fun (and even though I weigh exactly the same as when I got pregnant, my clothes deffo don't fit the same!)...
I'm like that - I'm more or less the same weight as before but a different shape so bigger round waist and chest and smaller on the fingers (which means I can't wear my wedding and engagement ring except in the summer when it's hot).
    Anyway,
Forum will be closed from 23:59 on Thurs to 09:00 on Fri,
I wondered why there were so few pages to catch up when I'd slept in.

Is Weezl Welsh? I thought she just lived in Wales?

Why is it when Rose wakes up at 4am, MSE is shut for the night??
Alice was awake at four too although I didn't think of going on MSE. OH brought her into our bed but after an hour he put her back because she kept moving around and keeping us awake and wouldn't just lie down quietly to go to sleep.

Hope Charlotte is ok as she hates drills and cries when I use one.
She may be okay if it's someone else doing it rather than you as you won't be unavailable due to drilling.

i am really really struggling being back at work. i love what i do, but there is so much going on in the company that staff moral is at an all time low (people leaving/penny pinching/hours being cut etc). also, having to deal with colleagues moods (and in turn being offish until they need you do to something for them).

i just can't get passed having to deal with all that rubbish and that it means i dont get to see my daughter all day.
:grouphug: I can't imagine how hard it must be to have to leave your child to go to work every day even if you enjoyed it.

I actually caught up last night but i ended up getting sidetracked. i.e when Susan posted about that baby hoax, i googled it and ended up reading about that for ages, and the blogs started to lead me to other blogs and before i knew it the forums were closed :rotfl:
I have that problem too - it's so easy to get caught in a rabbit warren.

So thanks to the lovely fairies, i am the proud owner of a freedom sling pouch and i can't do it cryin.gif. I can't get her to look comfy in it, i've looked at some vids on youtube and googled for instructions but i still feel like she's gonna fall out, or if not, her head is squished... I'm a nugget, cos i haven't used it outside yet i've just been practising at home... There must be a knack to it
We found we took a while to get used to our (wrap) sling. If you keep practising it should get easier.

Still catching up, but going to say that I hate you Beenie :p...Finn was actually pretty good last night, but when I put him down after his 2am feed we then went into this weird thing where I couldn't tell if he was asleep or awake in his basket as he kept making these really weird squeaking/grunting noises and moving around. He usually does these noises when he's waking up or about to cry, but he did them for 1.5 hours!! So great he didn't cry, but also I didn't sleep as they were so loud they kept me awake - and I'm not sure whether he was asleep or awake either! Anyone else's baby do/done this? I admit I felt like I was going mad as desperately just wanted to sleep...
Alice used to be quite noisy in her sleep. She would make loads of noises and sometimes spent an hour or two sounding like she was about to wake up before she actually did. (This was one reason why we put her in her own room but obviously that is not recommended.)

Has anyone, or anyones naughty OH been on a Driving Course after a speeding fine?
I've been offered one; the choice is 3 points and a £60 fine, or attend this half day driving course for £88 and get no points.
I'm just curious as I don't know anyone who's been on one.

A friend of mine did it and said it was fine and actually quite useful. She's still a super speedy driver though - and she met her husband there :rotfl:

Hi to everyone else, I do keep up (just struggle to communicate) .
Oscar is nearly 6 months old and a joy to have (most of the time). He has 2 teeth ( and I have ordered a Sophie on all your reccommendations) and seems to be hitting most milstones.

Always lovely to see you xx

It must have been fate making them speed, so they'd meet on the course! :rotfl:

I'm a good driver now, honest. OH said if I get caught again he'll cuff and punish me. :p See, the power has gone to his head already. :rotfl:
And in my defence, the road I was speeding on did used to be a 50 before it got changed to a 30 a year or so back.

Thanks Susan...he's doing it right now again but it's only been occasional so far. Oh also, can you not just get your rings re-sized? Or they sell those plastic inserts to make your rings fit smaller, I think. My thing with weight is I might be the same number, but I had quite a lot to lose before I even got pregnant, so I have to fight the same battle as everyone else! :p

SS - prolly not what 3 wants to hear, LOL.

My sister's naughty OH has, he said its boring but worth it to avoid points, they also gave him freebies like keyrings saying kill ur speed and gave them a map of all the speed camera locations in the area.

it's the woman from the article the other day I think. She's gonna be on This Morning.
We've been discussing it on the rad mid group but I doubt anything will be cleared up on tv unless they get a half decent MW on to comment

oh it's on now and its the midwive that think breast milk is like cola *rolleyes*
