And Weezl of course!
Morning all - I think the forums should close every night, then I don't have pages to catch up on.
My DD1 one is saying she has a bad headache this morning (and last night, and yesterday morning). It's not like her to be ill, she's had 100% attendance certificates in school every year except one. But how do you tell if she's really got a headache or just doesn't fancy school today?
Do I be nice and let her stay in bed and be pampered, or do I be wicked and kick her !!! to school?
Weezl of course.
Would be a good idea to close the forums, then i'm forced to bed, rather than 00:30Although Angela would wake up and have nowhere to go, so maybe not a great idea
I'd be inclined to believe her if she has 100% attendance. I'd have given her some painkillers before school to see if it helped and then made a judgement call late on.He might not be smelly...
MOTM I couldn't abide that BB Mikey, he flagrantly thought he'd get the pity vote and his face when he didn't win was a picture.
All men are smelly...Am I allowed to man bash?Well, i'm not smelly, I don't think  but boys smell. I've been told this by my girls
smell and suck :rotfl:
Yes, that Mikey played on his disability and thought even with his foul mouth he'd win, so his face and his false 'I'm glad Rachel won' statements, were quite amusing. Although seeing lovely Rachel's face of shock when she won, was even better. Sometimes the good ones do winMOTM - Vinnie to win please !!
 No! Not him! :rotfl:0 -
Mookie - Excellent news, what a clever girl :T
Scruffy - sorry to hear your news
Hammy - Poor David hope he feels better soon. Have fun tonight!
Choppy - Glad Caitlin is feeling better
AF - Sorry you are feeling down. I plan not to get into any politics when I return to work, just keep my head down and get on with it so I can get home to my baby.
Feelie & Lady - Gorgeous piccie! What beautiful children!
Go Amber :dance:I forgot to post about 32B's news yesterday as well
FAIRYDAWN!!!! Hello hun :hello: Oscar is looking extrememly cute in your avvy but I suspect that pciture is from newborn! Teeth!!! Aw bless him.
Lovely to 'see' you!
3 - I'd do the driving course - not that I've ever had to but if it means no points I'd do it!
SB - Sorry to hear number 3 won't be happening soon but I'm sure it won't be long
I think that my GD might have been undiagnosed IF I had had my GTT at 24 weeks like I was supposed to. I put it off til 30 weeks (1st July) cos I knew OH would have been on hols for the whole of June so didn't know if I'd be around. I was borderline at 30weeks but between 30w and 37w it got progressively worse.
I wanted Nicola to win CBB - I've not been watching it but some of the comments she has come out with have been really funny! I can't imagien telling Vinnie Jones he had put weight on
No SM and her news yet then! Little tyke is keeping us waiting
AF has arrived so no BFP for me :j:(:(:(:(
Feel relieved but also disappointed, am debating whether to get a coil fitted or just stick with raincoats as we are considering trying for Number 2 in December :j
Been out and stocked up on beer for the lads and collected a parcel. Just waiting and hoping my raincover comes for the Aria so me & J can go on Pram Walk!
Phew - that was a long post!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -

i am really really struggling being back at work. i love what i do, but there is so much going on in the company that staff moral is at an all time low
Is there ANY way you can change jobs? I know that may sound extreme, but more often than not, when morale hits rock bottom and you really struggle in the workplace, it doesn't get much better. Sorry if that's not what you wanted/needed to hear, but i've left jobs because of others and having to bite my lip/restraining my right hand from moving too fast in others directions. When I was 18, I hated a job so much because of colleagues I had to just walk out after a while or i'd have done something that would have got me in trouble and i've said ever since that i'd not make myself unhappy, as it affects all other aspects of your life.Is Weezl Welsh? I thought she just lived in Wales?

I knew I liked youShe was funny and sweet.but not Welsh
I'd love to tell Vinnie he's a fatty. He's smaller build than me and not trained in what i'm trained in, so he wouldn't worry me. Alex may be another matter. Mr Cage Fighter  but he seems alright. Shame about his taste in women :whistle:0 -
SM....where are you!!! its tomorrow now and i want to know your news!!

Looking at the potential size of No.3, I can't say i'd look forward to it.
My little 6lb 12oz hurt enough thank you.
SB scans weren't mentioned but I dont think she did as she was as far as I can work out only seen my the IM, she'd chosen an IM for continuity of care and because the hospital was a long distance to travel.
I haven't seen anything saying whether the GD was diagnosed or not so not sure on that. (I need to watch her on This Morning online coz missed most of it)
what annoys me the most is maybe the MW was wrong in the antenatal care but the way they are talking about the damage is that it is all her fault when the problems both mum n baby suffered are common in shoulder dystocia not necessarily a result of what the MW did0 -
Aberdeen is covered in snow again
Why, just why! It's horrible.
Just ate some lentil soup and 2 bits of wholemeal brown bread, being all healthy like  Won't mention the handful of pringles.....
Off to the gym again at 1, I'll have a cup of coffee beforehand Glam
I'm feeling so tired lately, not sure why, I can sleep 11hours straight and still have more kip! I've ran out of my pill too, that's 6months of it up, and my spots still aint went, what a waste of time, I'm using my last pill right that I still have some left of, just until I get to the doctor as I CBA with a period!!0 -
it's the woman from the article the other day I think. She's gonna be on This Morning.
We've been discussing it on the rad mid group but I doubt anything will be cleared up on tv unless they get a half decent MW on to comment
oh it's on now and its the midwive that think breast milk is like cola *rolleyes*
They were discussing this 'midwife' yesterday on another forum and apparently she hasnt been registered as a midwife since 1984 (she isnt currently on the NMC register) How she manages to be on every program dishing out her advice and views I dont know.ManOnTheMoon wrote: »I'd love to tell Vinnie he's a fatty. I think Alex has probably changed a lot of peoples perception of him in the house, he's still not my cup of tea but better than I previously thought. And Katie Price =
Oh, Id quoted Beenie too but Ive lost it. If you look on https://www.thebabywearer.com their are links on pouch slings that might help.
We're off to baby massage at 1, Ive got loads of tidying to do too as we've got friends over tonight but instead Im on here while Isla has a feeding marathon
Hope everyones well and poorly babies & parents are getting better xBelly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0
