Back in a bit, it's bed time for Katie, she's not had a sleep today and is flagging.

Karen - sorry I'm not ignoring you it's just that I've been advised not to use hormonal contraception.

Thanks Weezl- definitely recommend Wales if anyone wants to rent a cottage in Pembs this summer I can get you some reasonable rates :). We're using condoms at the mo, but thought I'd see cause its been so nice the last couple of years not bothering with them - what with trying and then being pregnant. Not that we have DTD that much since T arrived hoping to change that now that DH has moved back into the bedroom and T moved to her cot :D

I wanted to say again that I'm sorry that my comment upset people the other day. I 'feel' that there are still negative feelings surrounding that conversation, and wanted to clearly apologise again. No hurt was intended, and there was no malice, it was an ill informed and ill thought out comment and I hope I am forgiven. I hope you all know me well enough to trust that I didn't mean to hurt anyone.

saw my HV on Thurs and did another PND test which I just "passed" but I have been loads happier since my trip to Wales. She said she probably would have advised me to go to my GP if she had seen me a week before and advised me to stop breastfeeding - so relieved I didn't see her earlier. She has given me loads of info re parent and toddler groups so planning to go out and about a bit more next week.
Glad to hear things have improved. Did the HV say why she thought giving up breastfeeding would have helped? (Feel free to ignore if you don't want to answer.)

susan - think she was going to recommend I take some anti depressants (or something to help PND) so wouldn't be able to breastfeed whilst taking them.

Feelie - i don't know what you said but from what I have read from you previously I know you wouldn't purposely upset anyone.

  • Hello folks.

I'm back from Basingstoke and I can confirm that AF, Ladybird, Feelie, Izzy and Toby are all very lovely. Wagamamas and ice cream were fab too!

Weezl- sweetcorn fritters sound nom, nom, nom. I think you asked yesterday or this morning if I like beetroot- I do. I like all fruit and veggies (even brussel sprouts).

Nicki- sorry to hear about your break in but glad you are all okay.

Beenie- yippee for a good HV. She sounds lovely and just what you need.

    SM- yay for eBay profits.

Sorry, I can't remember anything else but I'm sure more will come to me throughout the evening.

Yes - and I was slightly embarassed at admitting it. (Unlike the spreadsheets etc.)
