I LOVE salad
Me too! Craig laughs at me at the Pizza Hut buffet as I'll pick two slices of pizza and a massive mountain of salad:D
Sorry to hear your news Nicki. We were burgled when I first got a house with my ex and it was an awful feeling knowing someone had gone through your stuff. Hope you are ok xx
Charlotte has been in a mad mood today. You know that ad that comes on with a dance/rave type tune for We Buy Any Car? She was yelling that on the field but with different words - "we buy any Bob dot com" "we buy any Jack dot com" "we buy any trees dot com" "we buy any puddles dot com" and so on :rotfl:
Parents should have started their journey home from India by now. They'll have done the Goa to Mumbai flight and will be at Mumbai airport now. They'll fly to Heathrow overnight, then fly up to Newcastle in the morning. I'm looking forward to seeing them as I've missed them.
Popped up to their house this morning to check on things, turn the heating up and leave them some groceries. Charlotte came and I said I was just popping up to check the bathroom in case of leaks, so she popped into the spare bedroom and was pleased to report her nappy changing mat was still there :rotfl:Here I go again on my own....0 -

Also a frugal veggie risotto needs testing-would that tickle the tastebuds?

Hehe, random but made me laugh... My little sister just txt asking me to find out who Man City are playing tomorrow (Hull, incidentially). I asked why and she said "because they keep wandering in to my event and I'm going to speak to their manager. Google his name for me!" :rotfl: She's an events manager, currently overseeing an dinner event for three large local companies, and the Man City players are staying at the same hotel. Can just imagine her storming in to the manager..0

I wanted to say again that I'm sorry that my comment upset people the other day. I 'feel' that there are still negative feelings surrounding that conversation, and wanted to clearly apologise again. No hurt was intended, and there was no malice, it was an ill informed and ill thought out comment and I hope I am forgiven. I hope you all know me well enough to trust that I didn't mean to hurt anyone.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

hello feelie, nice to see you
that's very sweet of you to say sorry again. I personally don't feel anything bad about the conversation, obviously can't speak for the others, who I'm sure will let you know if there is anything lingering. How's Toby liking the nanny?
It's really tricky online isn't it? we can't see facial expressions or hear tone or see gestures... Tricky tricky
searchie, be warned: a poster on old-style reports that the Tesco value shortbreads you like have gone up from 9p a pack to £1.35!!!!

elle/susan, quick warning the thread discussing that 8 boys and wanting a girl programme seems to have 8 out of 10 posters using that phrase that you rightly pointed out is unhelpful and a bit offensive. Just wanted you to spare yourselves any unnecessary annoyance
Apart from MDW's comments on it which are very insightful and don't use that phrase
