    LOL :)

I kinda had to because we did a 100km walk for oxfam without stopping to sleep in less than 36hrs. (our team did it in 27). While we were doing 30 mile walks to train DH went below 11stone and looked really gaunt! So I read up a bit and started doing sums :)

    hugs Nicki, how awful :(

Aless, that's interesting about the fruit. I wonder if that's better to concentrate on then. I had thought it was lack of meat for people's OH's that was more of an issue over on old-style, perhaps wrongly.

People seemed to be saying they were feeling dreadful, huge amounts of debt, but their DH needed meat with every meal.

Maybe I'll be able to do different versions.

Not that I'm saying you should follow one of the plans aless, in case it sounds that way! They're only really meant to try and help the people who really need to make the savings but feel they can't because they've heard/think it can't be done healthily, IYSWIM? It's something I feel really strongly about and suspect I will quietly plod away trying to make a difference to all my life :o:)

Weezl - my OH MUST have meat or fish with every meal and moans if we have mince because he doesn't class that as meat or a 'proper' meal!

In the week he eats more than weekends although he doesn't have breakfast in the week. (doesn't eat as much as Sami's OH though!)

Breakfast - a glass of milk before work
Mid Morning - oat bar/hot cross bun & a banana
Lunch - HUGE Bap filled with either meat or tuna & salad/handful of cherry tomatoes/apple/pear/orange/small chocolate bar/bag of crisps.
Tea - Whatever I cook but must have meat in it.
Later on - a HM fruit smoothie - usually consisting of avocado, banana, grapes - frozen fruit

He also snacks on biscuits & chocolate in work.

    Weekends
    Brekkie - Cereal
Lunch - Scrambled Egg or beans or summat on toast
Tea - Whatever I cook but again must have meat and must fill a plate.
Smoothie - with at least 6 pieces of fruit in.

Last night we had a gammon steak, half a plate of wedges, half a garlic bread, an egg and he had mushrooms & tomatoes as well.

Just been to ASDA and they have reduced Baby Event Stuff - got 2 of the Lindam StairGates down from £25 to £10 :money:

Had to buy Size 4 nappies for J as well cos the 3's are digging into him now - managed to swap a box but they are more expensive!

I've been burgled! They broke in during the night, and amongst other things have taken mine and OH's cameras and my mobile phone, so all the pictures I have ever taken of Edward have gone. The rest of it is all petty annoying stuff, like my blackberry with all my contacts, and appointments on it, and OH's laptop with his work stuff, together with all our cards and cash, which will make paying for DS's birthday party tomorrow challenging.

    :mad::mad::mad:

Thats so awful. Lots of hugs.

Meals that I cook include - chilli and bolganese (which he doesn't really think is a big meal even though I do tons of rice & half a garlic bread with it) , curry, mini roasts - I say mini cos it's usually a chicken breats rather than a joint but consists of meat, 6 roasties, veg, 2 yorkshires & gravy. enchiladas (but these MUST be served with wedges/garlic bread), chicken in varying sauce & rice, sausage & mash with veg & Yorkshires, pasta and meat.
The main problem is I'm quite fussy so I only cook things I like (I refuse to cook 2 meals!) and as I don't like salad or fish we don't tend to have these.

    Nicki - massive hugs!!

SB - I remember my Babysitter coming on holiday with us once and bringing a bottle of Hooch! I was about 14 at the time

It's the portion sizes sami! He had a seperate dinner plate last night for his wedges :o

he has double the amount of rice or pasta that it says on the packet and 100g dry weight oats as his breakfast porridge with golden syrup :)

From experimentation, he gains weight at 4500 cals, loses it at 3500 or below and maintains 11.5 stone on 4000.

I am now just going to sound far too geeky to know that so I shall go and hide :o

ps my main concern for Fergie and kester is that they will not have his metabolism but will copy his eating :rotfl:
noo it's fab that you know that!!
Fingers crossed the boys know their limits  I'm watching Gastronuts on bbc1 right now (finishes at 5pm) it's great they've got kids eating a pigs head and making black pudding :T

Nicki, thats terrible hun! Hope they recover your pictures.

Well done searching on the ebaying! Hope your sending your 20p recorded mail.

I spent 3 hours tidying the living room and it still looks a midden. Not happy. :( I've also just realised that I've barely ate today, a scone and 3 small carrots and a bit of cheese. Better go make some dinner then.
