Thanks Sparkle regarding checking out Lloyds for price of Formula! if not i'll phone them.

So far my little man doesnt refuse a feed! although he is stuffy nosed so isnt taking all of his feeds, he was on 6oz's! I had been using calpol nasal spray on him, but i think it was giving him belly ache! as he had some lovely hard green poops, but as now over a month old, I've gone from colic drops to gripe water!

Aw poor little man, hope the stuffy nose get clear soon. I wont be going out til my parcel comes (if it does) and then I wont be back until tonight so if your desperate to know you might be better ringing x

I am having one of my worst mornings ever. Madam T decided she wanted to sleep in 1 hour stints from 8pm last night and would start crying as soon as she is lain in her cot. So spent most of last night feeding, holding a crying or sleeping baby and going up and down stairs I am absolutely shattered and she has been wide awake since 7am and wanting constant entertaining or feeding. I am getting annoyed and have had to try and calm myself down because she must be full from the feeds as she comes off on her own, she doesn't seem to want to sleep but she must be tired without her usual 6 hour stint. The most I have done this morning is put my nappies on to wash and made myself some toast. I am not even dressed. I have my "new parent group" meeting at 12 which I am counting down to (she slept the whole time last time), plus (luckily) my HV is coming to see me at 2. Might just nip out to the post office which is a short walk away if I can manage to get dressed!! Feel a lot better now having vented

Hope everyone else's LOs are behaving this morning......

thanks all. I did think about teeth but he's not got any of the other symptoms. Also he dislikes feeding lying down at the best of times, but good tips about making it quiet/low lights.

I did have a better post writetn, but Firefox ate it!

She has a small room next to ours, there are another 3 bedrooms on the next floor. It's split level so a half staircase. 4 at home, DS is the eldest, 16 on the 17th!

I replied earlier but lost the post & forgot second time.
It's best not to miss a feed - I did this for 2 days (on GP advice :mad:) and it took a week for J to settle again!

Glam, why did your GP say to do that? I meant miss the Infacol at feeds, not miss the actual feed, is that what u meant? I'm annoyed because the bottle would have lasted longer if i didn't flipping spill half of it :eek:

glam i realised that too .. but she always spend one week of the hols at her aunts seeing family in london and if its then she wont care as they spoil her rotten when shes there and comes back with far too many toys ...

Thanks Mrs FD - the daytime sleep is quite enough trouble for us right now without bonus night-time drama, he is very cute and entertaining though
