The bucket swapping went a bit Pete Tong.

I've de-flooded the kitchen twice now.

Warning to all - don't underestimate how much water a washing machine uses

Also serves me right for a- fiddling with pipes, and b- leaving all the washing to build up meaning i needed to do the wash today as opposed to waiting.

Tia, that's the first time I've heard about any limit on the time spent expressing while baby is on SCBU. They never cared about (or even took interest in) the expressing side of our equation, only the feeding side. As for 3- vs.4-hourly feeding, yes they put Andrew to a 4-hourly schedule before we left. It's a good question as to why?and one that I shall ask at the Parents Forum.

As for the original issue of a "Feeding group" as opposed to a "BF group", well at least it would be more accessible to people like me! I need to consider similar health issues to the BF mums (blocked ducts, mastitis, my own health) but then I also have issues similar to FF mums (bottles, teats, routine).

nope, only ever lactulose and now the referral *confused shruggy smiley* I thought they'd try those and also movicol first, but I guess we have to go along with what our GP says.

Sami I asked on freecycle for a new sophie for Edgar, but no replies yet :(
