We live in a crap house with no double glazing or insulation, but what we save in rent on a place that had these things we only end up spending in winter on the heating, so the high bills are ok IYSWIM! I try not to put the heating on, but Seth's hands look purple if I dont have it on low pretty much constantly!! If it was just me I'd man up and put a jumper or 3 on, but I cant have the wee man's hands purple!Mummy to

I've set it up anyway, and all in his name, to be emailed through to him :rotfl: I've arranged it to come out of my account, as does the rent, so when he transfers the rent over each month he cant transfer over a bit extra to cover it. I'll just pay a bit as well, I've not paid any bills or anything since I went on ML so I've done quite well to not pay them for the two months I've been earning again :rotfl:Mummy to

Weezl - if you're around and have a minute, how easy and how cheap would it be to make something like this:
I have a sewing machine, so could make the triangles (two triangles of fabric stitched together, I guess) and I could cut the letters out of felt and stick them on with glue, but what about the ribbon thing? Do you have any ideas what I could use and how to attach it? The one above is £20 and I'm sure it would be cheaper to make my own.0 -
Our gas was £260 and our electric was £160 for the last quarter! I had the heating on constantly for about 2 weeks though when it snowed. And I've been using the tumble dryer a lot too.
DH is still not homeHe phoned about half an hour ago to say that he was in Sheffield but has now been called out to Bradford. He's on call all week - they always seem to be the longest ones.
