Choppy, the ribbon looks like it is just folded in half and sewn up? So the top of the triangle is enclosed in ribbon... if you get what I'm opn about...

You could probably do it all with wonderweb, the height of sewing-cheating-ness ;):D

I know I'm not weezl but..
Choppy, just use a thin piece of fabric folded over and inside IYSWIM? or ribbon or bias binding, would be easier but slighty more costly (still pretty cheap though :)
you may get a better effect if you pop a triangle of card inside them or use the stuff that's name escapes me that irons on the back to stiffen fabrics EDIT Interfacing http://direct.hobbycraft.co.uk/productdetail.asp?productcatalogue=259070

On the ice-cube-tray debate, I'm currently using silicon cube-trays that I picked up in Lidl before the festive season. They make really small cubes but that suits Andrew just fine (coz he's "really small"). I picked up some normal (white plastic) cube trays yesterday, I'll progress him into those in due course to make larger portions.

    How is everyone?

DH has a new iphone so he is very happy, and I'm a widow for the night. Boys are in a bath next door, Amber hasd passed out in her crib (well, she's not making any 'eat meerkat, die meerkat die die chomp chomp' sounds), I've dishes to do, asda to visit, ironing to do... *sigh* Oh and a book to read (trying to explain to DH that just paying the £80 to get my laptop fixed now will be cheaper than getting his mate to do it ovber a week or so due to the amount of books he iis buying me to keep my occupied ta night, so far £28).

Amber had another dinner tonight :D

DS1 woke up this moring dfizzy and ended up being sick (because he decided to go downstairs while dizzy) but has been fine since.

DS2 weights 17kg, can anyone check what percentile that is for me please? he is 4years 9months. thank you! Or is there a link online? I was looking at him earlier and he looks very very skinny. Wii fit says he has lost 6lbs in the past 4 weeks. He is at his anual consultant review tomorrow anyway.

Just ducking back in to say evening all - lurking because I've not much to say but didn't want to be rudely spying ;)

Great weekend, a friend of mine was over (he is in fact my ex of ten years and now one of my best friends). He and I went swing dancing to find that the Germans think Abba's good to West Coast to. So I'm going to take a German Lindy class and see how it goes, hmmm. He and OH get on really well and it was fun to have lots of my favourite people all in the same place.

    I hope everyone's doing ok?
