Well done harley, awesome news! :D :j

Random question (and one that's been asked before but I'm going to say it again :p).. how many weetabix do babies here eat? Rhys had (a whole) one this morning for the first time, mixed with pear mush, and it wasn't as much porridge as he normally has  At least I'll be better with portion control with Weetabix - none of this more porridge, more milk, more porridge, more milk faff! :)

    Evenin all

I knew I was pg with C the Friday I went back to work after the New Year. I was about the only one in our place and I just felt odd. Came home and burst into tears for no reason - and thats when I knew. Did a test the Sat am, told OH it was positive and he just said 'oh right' and then wondered why I got upset. He thought it just meant I might be and would have to get a doc to confirm - thats how it was the first time round for him! :rotfl:

NMS - glad L is not poorly sick.

SM - (and MFD) glad you can come on Tues, I'm looking forward to meeting you all

    Hi all,

SM, we usually exchange cards on valentines day (some years I have had flowers and/or chocolates) but we celebrate our wedding anniversary (the real one) on 1st Feb so we go out for a meal then.

    Harley - well done you.

Mel - oh no to the hair cut. Hopefully it'll grow back soon so you can have it cut in a better way.

There seem to be a lot of people aiming for summer 2011 babies. We're looking at that too. I wonder if MOTM and Lucy will be joining us :D

    Steady! ;)

You may be going for another? Good luck with that :)

    Hi all.

    Can I share.

I have officially been 'smoke free' for a year. Well, a year yesterday really. This time 1 year and 1 day ago I was stood on the patio with preg test in one hand, cigarette in the other and the biggest grin on my face you could ever see.

    And it seems like yesterday.

Anyway, just wanted to share in my proud moment (yes, another one). Will be ringing life insurance people on Monday to demand substantial discount.

    xxxxx

    :T:T:T:T
*feels alittle silly for celebrating val day now*

oh well never mind then :) x

I've not celebrated it for a while because i've been a single dad, but this year I shall. Not sure what to do though, as it's like Valentines Day every day at the moment, with it being a new relationship.

I agree that it's a commercial exercise, but i've always gone with whatever the female wants, but I like to be romantic all year round.

I made far too much porridge yesterday and I wouldn't let him have it all - he wasn't impressed!

I'm struggle with portion control, I just don't know how much he should be having! It says that he will let you know when he's full but so far he has just sat there with his mouth open waiting for the next spoonful!

don't worry it's all sunk in by the morning (and all over my bedcover!)

Will be lovely to see you & Benjamin again you'll be amazed at how chunky my little monkey is now after being such a titch before! :)
I can't believe he was only 2 weeks old!

LOL - the bigger they get the harder it is to believe that they were ever little and helpless. But the sweeter it gets when they really need you for a cuddle ;)

Well done Harley. I have been smoke free for nearly 2 years now and I am honestly at a point where I don't think I will ever go back. It is a terribly hard thing to do (although prob easier when pregnant) and an even harder thing to keep up (although prob harder for those who gave up because they were pregnant).

Congratulations sweetie :T may we stay smoke free from now on xxx

Don't worry Carla, I don't even have a list :p. Maybe that's why I am so bloomin' inefficient at home :D......
