I wonder if I should be worried about Caitlin's eating. Probably not as, illness aside, she seems happy and healthy. She just doesn't eat very much. It's a real struggle to get food and enough milk into her each day.

Leila really doesnt eat that much and only just manages the recommended 600mls of milk per day. She will only take 120ml in one go and sometimes even refuses that much. With food, I think i'm a bit over ambitious with her eating. I gave her scrambled eggs tonight with melted cheese on top. It seemed pointless to use one egg so I made it with 2. She almost managed 1/2 of it (so I should have just used one egg!!). I do feel that I am force feeding her sometimes but I dont know if she is genuinely full or just distracted or busy digesting the last mouthful. She will whinge though if she's really had enough.

OH and I have been drinking.. I just asked him, having never thought to ask before(!), how many children he wants. His answer? "12" HA! His more sensible answer is 3... hmmm

MFD, don't be scared of my OH :( it's the danger of these forums, I tend to post when I have a rant, not the rest of the time, she is really perfectly harmless and very lovely the vast majority of the time ;)

And thanks :D I think he's cute! He does the vegetable-naming thing frequently at the moment... toddler-tantrums if one does not participate fully!

    I just worry :o

Mealtimes can take ages here because sometimes Benjamin just needs a rest. I don't mind though because we have lots of fun and porridge/whatever smeared kisses :D

I'm off to bed now guys. Forgot to tell you this morning, but when I went to bed last night, I switched the landing light on, went into check on Caitlin and she was wide awake and gave me the biggest grin. When I walked out, she burst into tears and I was up and down with her for the next two hours. I'm going to be now in case we have a repeat performance tonight. She woke up a couple of hours ago crying and DH had to go up and shush her back to sleep. She's been very unsettled since being poorly :(

Welcome to separation anxiety :o it is lots and lots of fun for[STRIKE] all the family[/STRIKE] mummy :o

    ah well, off to bed.
  • Evening ladies, gentlemen and babies.

Not had chance to catch up. I've only just had chance to sit down my itinerary for today was:

Pop into mum's to swap cash for cheque so can send Sun Holidays application.

    Swimming in Stoke

Buy birthday card and present from Morribobs for brother, put petrol in car (Morribobs next to gym where swimming is held)

Visit brother in Manchester to give birthday pressie and pick up loft ladders.

Home for hair cut - Katie had her hair at the back trimmed to even up the layers!

Supermarket shopping - splitting shop between Aldi and Asda saved me £21 compared to all on-line at Asda.

Tea - BM did pizza dough whilst out shopping

Make Chocolate Fudge bars with Katie for Church cake sale.

Hugs and well done all round.
Proud to be dealing with my debts

Now this is why I won't ask DH about more children!! Benjamin is his 4th and it was hard work getting him to agree to one. There was a point in our marriage where he told me that he didn't want any more kids and we pretty much hit rock bottom for a while. I don't want to go there again if he says no to any more :(

Although, chatting with the girls today, part of me can't imagine life with another one...but part of me can't imagine not having another one.

Am I the only one who is undecided?
