Load of overrated bullshoite if you ask me. If hubby loves me he has 364 days of the year to show me so...on Valentines day I refuse to be lovey-dovey :rotfl::rotfl:
I am not normally a fan of 'funny' tee-shirts but some of these have me laughing out loud!
I am seriously considering buying this one:

My grumpy boy has gone to bed, there is only so much grumpiness you can put up with and we have had it for a good few days now.
I don't bother with Valentine's Day either - just another day for the card industry to rake the money in! I don't love OH anymore just cos it's the 14th Feb!
I have really dry skin on my hands and it's all cracked and very sore
I am also spotty and have dry lips (probably from the wind yesterday) and just feel generally !!!!!!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

SM - don't feel silly chick!
Like I said the other day, the fab thing about this thread is that you get a brilliant range of opinions. The problem is that you don't always get the whole story at the same time. It just so happens that the first 3 people to reply to your post don't celebrate Valentines Day - but I know from RL that we are in a minority!!! Most of the women on here will and they will give you some feedback which is better for you. xxxplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Don't feel silly! It's just another day - I bet if you went out for a meal on the 12th of Feb it would cost half the price but you'd have just as much fun and it's not like you love Phillip anymore just cos it's the 14th of Feb!!!
I joined the Pregnancy Thread on the 20th Jan after getting a BFP on 19th Jan - was weird reading posts around that time! Fitzio joined soon after and Sami had 135 days to go and the topic of the day was drinking fizzy drinks!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

We generally celebrate with a meal out, or a takeaway, although OH is working this year. It's just nice to have an evening focussing on each other rather than the TV or 'net! We're the same on all sorts of anniversaries too. This year will be ten years since we met, and we're having a night in a spa hotel for that!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
