In reply to both of the above - when they are full they will stop eating. Like us sometimes it will be a little meal, sometimes they will be starving, and there will be no logical reason for either. Try not to worry and keep giving them more as long as they are eating it. I will happily give main meal, side order (bread or veg), pudding, fruit or 2 and a biscuit if Benjamin wants it but sometimes he will only eat half his main meal and some fruit!! If he is hungry he will let me know.


Benjamin usually eats 1 weetabix BTW. But always followed by some fruit and 2 fromage frais

We sorta-ish celebrate Valentine's, i.e. we try to do something but not anything more surprising than we might do any month really. And as OH's birthday is so near to it, we usually get to do my choice on Valentine's :A


Silverside - you can roast/'pot roast'/slow roast... I expect you can SC too but don't know... very nice when you get it right good luck!

Weetabix is ok from early I think, as it can be mushed right up?

I get anxious at our cruel treatment of Elijah when I read these reports of young babies scoffing multiple Weetabix; at 17 months he still never eats more than one, although he would usually eat some random other stuff too...

Elle, I thought that with weetabix, that it looked like a crap amount compared to the porridge he has, and when I asked if anyone gave them two nobody did but MFD had tried and B didnt eat it all

I tried Seth with two and he ate best part of it, but looked very bloated for a while and didnt eat lunch that day

What I did find, was that if I made it runny and nuked it for 30 seconds, it swelled up a bit bigger to a more satisfactory portion!

I gave up the day before I got the BFP, cos I suspected the BFP was coming and I couldnt smoke knowing I might have been PG. I didnt get any cravings at all while I was PG, but I do now sometimes! I had tried to give up before without success, and I think the only reason I managed it was cos it made me feel horrendously sick, which was the first pointer to me that I might be PG! Suspecting I was PG for a week beforehand didnt stop me slowly polishing off the remainder of the wine box I'd got for a party though...

They sound bargainous GISI, I'm going to Portsmouth on Weds so will stop by there and have a look! I've not been there since I was PG. I love the Vans shop, cos the trainers are the most comfortable things in the world and last forever!

For tea J had a 7oz bottle followed by 2 cubes of sweet potato and a cube of carrot. I was just giving him 2 cubes so have upped it to 3 now as he gobbled it all up!

I've started to follow a routine similar to yours from today but whether J will follow it tomorrow is another story :cool:

Choppy it won't hurt to get a valuation done and see how much you can borrow too. We always assumed we wouldn't be able to buy, but our friends gave us the number for the independent mortgage advisor people they used, and we decided to find out on the off chance, and discovered they were (at that point) prepared to lend us £180k!!!. Not that we could have afforded the payments on that much, but it meant we could start looking at the level we could afford and here we are
