Oh, talking of shoes, I wonder if they make them small enough for Rhys.. hmm, I guess somewhere does! *confused*

Genuine confused question.. When Rhys is standing on the floor, holding himself up but we're holding him under the arms or round the waist for balance, he steps forward (up to about ten steps as that's as far away as I can comfortably hold him from me!). He won't do it if we hold his arms though, likes to stretch them out while he lifts his feet. Is that still an newborn reflex hanging about or a new skill he's come up with? *confused*
  • sounds like a busy day MFD .. nothing reallyto report here spent the whole day indoors doing housework :( x

I could do with a day like that...desperately :o My Sat night will inevitably involve some kind of housework when I get too upset about it!!

    I don't blame B, I'd be pis*ed off getting wet too :p

you mean DSS didn't chose his victorian step mum ;)

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

It was a bit strange today introducing DSS as my 'Step Son' to my mummy friends. Because DH and I got married quickly and DSS was quite young at the time, we (hubby, PW and I) decided not to have the big 'step-mother' conversation with him and just let him work it out in his own sweet time. We know he does know now - his mum caught him in an argument with his mate about who had the best family using his 'step-mum' as a trump card (his mate was pee'd off that he didn't have a step-mum to come back with LOL) but we still don't really talk about it IYSWIM. As far as DSS is concerned Benjamin is just his brother, not his half brother, why make things more complicated than they already are!!

I remember about a yr ago on of the PC members had trouble getting shoes for their littley, I think Clarks only have a few sz2's in the crawler style and that what they needed but walker ones IIRC

Ed does the walking thing too I suppose his back just isn't strong enough to walk holding hands

Shoes - I was told that they should be walking for a good month to 6 weeks before you buy them shoes so I was going to at least wait until he shows some inclination!!

...although Clarks do 'cruising shoes' don't they?

    Confuzzled of Wolverhampton!

Edit - at the moment I can't imagine Benjamin sitting still long enough to have his feet measured so I kind of want to leave it until he understands a bit more...can he go barefoot until 16? xx

SM - too much to type on here... But yes, I am fine just still annoyed x

Sami - As far as I know, they all only sell Clarks shoes. Pointless info but I used to work for Clarks... I loved it on the kids section!

Oh, and it might be that she just doens't approve of my cooking today. After turning her nose up at her lunch, she has gobbled down a pot of rice pudding, and is now munching through a slice of bread with cashew nut butter with a look of "Why didn't you give me this to start with mummy?" on her face. :rotfl:

Or maybe she was sulking because I told her she was too heavy earlier ;) I need her to learn to walk, so I don't have to carry her out to the car!
forgot i quote this.....dunno what i wanted to say though......

  • SM - we don't do valentines day :T:T

Load of overrated bullshoite if you ask me. If hubby loves me he has 364 days of the year to show me so...on Valentines day I refuse to be lovey-dovey :rotfl::rotfl:

I am not normally a fan of 'funny' tee-shirts but some of these have me laughing out loud!

I am seriously considering buying this one:
