We have survived the flu jab. Izzy cried more when I took her t-shirt off than for the actual injection, so it can't have been that bad. She doesn't want to eat much now, but she was snacking all morning - she was quite happy to feed me, and for me to feed her, but wouldn't feed herself. Then she refulsed to let me feed her too. Will pop it back in the kitchen and try again later. we are both covered in tomato now!
Did she have it in her arm? I got them to do Chris's in his thigh, neither of them were affected by it really just a bit tiredness for Chris :)

Besides, I'm never on time when I drive somewhere, I don't have a hope of getting there before anything finishes if I walked it!

Susan - was it only a morning BF Alice had? How would you feel if it is just temporary and she comes back to it in a week or two?
It was, yes. I wouldn't mind either way really.

someone's just asked if they can copy my sig... not the kian bit the 2 quotes i have...
Would be a bit weird if they meant the Kian bit.

I put her in the trolley when we go shopping though as she likes to help and says "we'll just have this" while throwing various random items in the trolley :o
Alice does that too although she doesn't say anything - just starts grabbing things at random and throwing them in. I guess that's what it looks like we're doing and they're just copying.

:rotfl: That's okay - just wanted to check if you'd got it.

And you aren't rubbish, I think you are lovely.

    Something to amuse you all...
So far, we haven't given Caitlin any food from jars, she's just had HM stuff for meals, but we've been given some from various people and got a few samples, so I said to DH that we should start giving them to her as some of them are 4 months+ and won't be suitable soon.

So, we duly give her 1/2 jar of a chicken thing for lunch and she gobbled it down....way better than she does any of my HM stuff . I'm hoping it's a sign that she's getting better and wanting to eat more, but I'm not so sure :D

Sounds about right - Izzy has done that to me sooo many times. And when they can talk all they will want will be pizza and stuff, so I suppose we had better get used to it ;)

Yes they did her arm. She wasn't too bothered by it and has been fine all afternoon. A bit clingy, but I think that is just tiredness. She went to sleep without waiting for me to do twinkle twinkle or even turn the lights out tonight! I'm sure it won't last though, and she will be awake again just when I'm trying to go to bed. ;)

DH is another story - he is still in bed feeling sorry for himself. I have got him a few drinks and he is being horrid. Being as patient as possible, as he isn't feeling well, but there is no need to be so nasty. Silly boy.

Going to have a quick pootle round the living room picking up toys (don't know why really - they will be all over the floor within mins of getting up in the morning ;) )

  • Evening all,

Busy day at MFD towers. I picked DSS up at 10am this morning (hubby had an important meeting) and took him to our Saturday morning Little Stars Playgroup with us :D He was a darling, running around after Benjamin and my friends little girls so we mummies could have a coffee and a good gossip!!

Back home for lunch and then we were off into Birmingham to visit the Sealife Centre, which was fun but expensive!! They have a 4D film where the seats vibrate and wind blows and water splashes at you and Benjamin HATED it!! It was only 8 minutes long but we had to leave before the end because he was screaming his head off!! He did get a faceful of water though!!

Then home and pizza for dinner before helping DSS with his homework....he has to do a project on the victorian person of his choice and he has chosen Charles Darwin!! They are now trying to find easy to understand info about Darwin on the web :D

    How is everyone? xx
