can thst doc do it everytime????

Don't think so because they're forever switching round, but I'm going to phone tomorrow for the results and ask if they can make out the form for the next time and leave it on his notes so I can pick it up at the next appointment (the notes, all four folders of them, are usually at every appointment and we're always at several between blood tests so plenty of opportunities), and then if they can make us an appointment on the day ward each time for A doctor to do it.

The doc and senior nurse up there agreed his veins are trashed and he's still got a bruise on his foot from the attempt on 1st Feb (:() so the more attempts that other nurse has the more she's damaging them for the future. Think I just needed to get a doctor to agree with me!

Part the delay this morning was because they didn't have a completed form and I had to tell them what they were testing for because they couldn't find his folders and the non-existant blood form (hence me wanting to keep hold of it, sometimes they ask me if I've got it anyway)!

Fitzio/Glam - I had been having the same problem with Liam since around Christmas time until last week! Sometime he would wake every hour, other nights just a couple times. Some nights he would settle after a couple of mins crying (I mean long enough for me to wake and register it's Liam crying over the monitor and wake up) and some night he would cry himself awake.

My 1st thought was a 4th month growth spurt, then tummy bug, then I though he was waking for his dummy so weaned him off, then we had a cold then we got teeth. It seemed to settle a couple of nights after his 2nd tooth cut. I don't know what was causing it, if it was any of those things, it could have been teething all along, but whatever it seems to have been just a phase.

For the past week he has gone down like a dream and slept through till, just waking quite early (6:30 ish) he was bad last night, but it was the first day he had spent away from us and I think he just wanting re-assuring we weere still there.

I often read Glam's posts and think Jack seem to be mirroring Liam, just 6 weeks behind, lol Despite all my questionings I don't really know why he was waking, I can only guess :)

Jack started 4 weeks after Christmas so here's hoping I only have another 3 weeks of this (less would obviously be preferable!) :D

I had noticed Jack likes to copy Liam alot! Jack was up early this morning and I wouldn't mind that if he slept through til 6.30am. I've got loads done this morning cos he went back to bed til 8.30am!

Just packed 10 ebay parcels so gonna have a tidy round (need to deforst freezer later, dreading it!) then get lunch ready (scrambled egg on toast for us) then go to Tiny Stars. Busy busy
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

Ah Jillie it'll be ok :grouphug:

Fitz, I still feel like pants but am getting on with it as best I can. Molly has it and is unhappy, and OH has the worst case of manflu ever to be had by any man in the history of penises.

[original post interrupted by emergency bathtime]

Thank you Somnium, that's super fabulous. Are you getting super impatient?

Hmm, lunchtime I think. Molly is fed, OH is ranting about something to do with privacy laws (I think; not listening) and I need to eat before I fall over. I cancelled my friend coming over because we all feel like poops and she has a two month old baby I don't want to infect with the plague. (I told her I had no problem infecting HER, just not the baby...)

Leftovers for lunch, do I want pasta or meat with dumplings? nomnomnomnomnom.

Cue no sleep and lots of waking for a week now!! It always happens to me. I keep my big gob shut these days :rotfl:

We had that last night which I why I don't mind mentioning it ;) I've actually given up thinking he sleeps through, just wake in amazement when it happens. I am expecting him to be unsettled for the next few weeks anyway.

The nelsons powders are more expensive than A&P but A&P don't seem to touch the sides her (and I felt like I was giving my baby drugs with those dodgy little wrap-thingies!!!)

I found A&P didn't do much either, must look out for nelsons. I think I woke Liam more faffing about with those wrappers.

I hate the A&P wraps, it's really difficult to tip out half a wrap and I end up getting white powder all over Isla's nose, cheeks, chin etc. It looks awful! Even my brother commented I looked like I was drugging my child :o

Hello!!! Missed you, can you make the Trafford Centre next week? We are meeting on Tuesday :)

Ooh I should be able to, what time are you all meeting and where?

My DD was supposed to be having a nap as we're at the sure start for 'An introduction to weaning' this afternoon but instead she's been sqealing with delight at thin air and looking very proud of herself :rotfl:

Not long now Som, has operation eviction been in place?! My sister was due the same date as Kindof so it seems strange that her DS is 17 days old now, impatient little man just couldn't wait :)

    Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggggggghhh

I just read a thread where the OP's daughter has a name that's local slang for the ladygarden and it is killing me not to tell the OP. Someone wrestle my laptop from me please.

MFD I would have said about the spoon if you hadn't ;) I'm going to investigate the Stokke bag and see if I can install additional padding.
