That's where I'm going in 11 days! Will let you know what's it like.
Just been catching up, get well soon for those that are ill, especially Bruno's family with all the puking! Hugs to csh for your loss.
Erin is asleep on my knee again, I have tried a couple of times putting her in her cot when she is tired but she just doesn't like itbad mummy for not trying harder. Have had a good week though. Went to a parent class on Wednesday which was a surprise invite from lambeth council but very good as I met some nice mums with babies the same age as Erin and we had a speech therapist talk to us. Three more classes still to go (will miss one while on holiday though
) Then yesterday I went to a nice group really close to me and met more nice mums and then out for drinks in the evening with some old uni friends (with Erin in tow - bad mummy again!) but today I have just been lazy and not done anything.

Benjamin went to pre-school (playgroup) with his CM today. When I picked him up CM (who is dutch) was telling me how he had been and struggled for a word...
CM: 'He is getting really....'
Me: 'Adventurous?'
CM: 'Yes - adventurous at pre-school, there is a stage which is about 3 feet high and he spent a long time trying to climb onto it. I tried but struggled to distract him'
Me: 'That's my boy!!'
He climbs on everything! If you have a ballerina Fitzio, I have a rock climber!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Lol, she is a bit young to be feeding herself anyway! I just mean she can take the weight of the bottle and grasps it really well. I have let it go for a minute or two just to test her and she can support it well. But she tries to twist it and blocks the airflow hole so I have to turn it back.
Excuse my ignorance, but why would you not let him hold a bottle but would let him hold a cup? Bear in mind, I have no idea at this stage at what age you would still be giving bottles and when sippy cups replace bottles altogether!
Glam and Jillie had mentioned buying different bottles that babies can hold easier.0 -
