  • Talking about pram obsession...

I don't know whether to get the Oyster tomorrow or not... We've got the money for it, but I don't know if I should buy it when there's 3[STRIKE] unsuitable [/STRIKE]other buggies up the hall... Plus I still need to pay off my Mum's credit card from when we bought the shed on it in November and I didn't want to still be paying it now... Plus it's Aimee's birthday in a fortnight and her main present is still outstanding... As is a plan for the actual day...

Hubby's playing Lips on the Xbox... Heaven knows how he scores so well when he's so monotone...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    Well I'm away to bed.
Today has been A Bad Day.
I'm really glad I could come on here and talk to you guys today as OH has been at work all day.
I've been in touch with an ex-collegue today and also my Deputy from work and I think there is going to be a big turnout at my friends funeral. The least we can do is give him a fitting goodbye:(

This thread has its ups and downs, its occassional b1tchiness and arguements but at the end of the day, there will always be someone here with a kind word and a virtual shoulder to cry on, and I thank you all for that today x

    Ok needs a sick-bag now

    Night All x

Goodnight ya soft soppy East coaster! x

that reminds me - the other day I met up with the other 3 mums I see each week, one LO born week before J, others were 2 weeks before.
Mum of baby 3 says 'I'm glad I know you guys cos I just copy you!'

Mum of baby 2 'Well, I just copy everything that Glam does'
Mum of baby 1 (aka ME, Glam, Glamazon, Bargain Queen!) 'Well, I just get loads of advice from my forum!

mfd - I have 2 dummies. seriously need more!

The only reason OH got up the other night was because Jack had hit 2nd one under cot (which also has all his clothes under) and I couldn't reach them or see them (hadn't put specs on!) so Jack was screaming while I was trying to find them!

OMG - YOU SO NEED MORE!!! My Childminder has 4!!!

Another tip - I use the plastic pole from Benjamins cot mobile (which is no longer up) as a tool to grope under the cot. So if all the dummies go under then I just 'fish' with the bent pole and can usually grab a couple! No point fishing with your arm. The pole just lives under the cot

Becles - what a pain in the a$$ hope you get it sorted. Hubby says your kids are beautiful.

Glam, just wait, in a week or so he will realise how to turn it round ;)

Wonder if you get glow in the dark dummies? Probably do on that site with the teeth ones, but I meant nice ones.
  • I always had Aimee's bumper along the back of the cot as a kind of wall to stop dummies going down there... Also had a stool at the end of the cot with about 5 spares on it for night time groping lol...

I have at least 2 dummies beside my bed as if H decides she needs to go to sleep with one, it may get launched through the bars at the other side of the crib from my bed. Definitely not getting up so always handy to have a spare in case it's needed!
She also seems to be really good with her hands at taking it out and putting it back in. She usually gets it the right way in the end! Can also hold her bottle really well to feed herself for a few minutes.

Still not rolled over though so can't have everything! She keeps standing on one leg like a ballerina though so not sure if that will be her calling lol.
  • I won't let Benjamin hold his own bottle :o but I guess he could if he wanted to. He drinks from his own sippy cup.
