Oops sorry, DS summoned me to play Super Mario Bros, he's just gone to bed :eek:
SS i'm feeling ok. I was kinda hoping he'd be useless but he took over everything (and i let him... screw the principals i was so tired!) and i felt the pressure of everything was instantly lifted, the household kept going when i wanted to have a quick lie down etc. But it hasn't made me want him back so it's irrelevant, was nice to have a little break though? Well, after the inital crap. Just as long as i keep in mind that's all it was, a little break.
MFD i'll need a mattress too (and bedding but i'm sure i can acquire some, i have a couple of bits left from DS that i'd stored).
Glam i do have a Toys R Us card, but have no vouchers? I did get a birthday mailing cos DS birthday is coming up and it is £5 of WYS £30 instore only.
GISI i did Dooyoo and ran out of inspiration, and then loads of miles expired so i was raging and don't ever want to go back LOL! I do Quidco so will see about putting Amber's CTF in one that i know i can safely change is its a shares one. Withdrew my funds at Xmas though. I did daily clicks too but i felt like it was taking up half my life for little return and took a break that became permanent, i'll look at scratchcards.
I do have some stuff i can ebay - just clothes and stuff, gonna put that on my to do list.
SM i know what you're saying about freecycle, ebay etc, but everything she has was scrounged from somewhere or other and if he'd stuck with me then she would have wanted for nothing, his family would have probably bought everything we needed, and it just riles me that i've had to 'make-do' with everything (except the bouncy chair i bought when she was a few weeks old). All her clothes, everything. I have no problems with 2nd hand stuff but she's going to be in this bed for like, 5 years and i want this one thing to be 'right':( I have looked on eBay too, cos i wasn't bothered before but now i've gone all stubborn with myself about it.
Besides i had my heart set on this one but the Kensington is the compromise
But really i'm easy on the style as long as it's dark wood and cheap(edit - oh Glam knew this!!
:D:D Amber will be in me for about 16 years so gotta match mine
)
Ladybird thanks re backdated CSA i didn't know that. I'm on I.S. so can only keep £20 afaik? If they took all the backdated in one go then they'd just keep it wouldn't they? Although i think he's doing basic factory work so unless he gets a job in what he is qualified for then i think it'll be pennies.
still catching up, gawd i was only gone 10 mins wasn't i :eek:
edit - frecking hell how long is this post? lmao.0
