I won't be around again tonight as Katie and I are off out dancing (again!)

This time it's a barn dance being held by our church to raise funds for Haiti.

Must dash it's starts in an hour and we've got to get ready.

I'm like Mel in that I mostly had preferences rather than absolutes (I even had alternative budget forecasts for using formula and/or disposable nappies) but I did say I wasn't going to buy any pink clothes and have ended up buying some because it's pretty hard to avoid.

My mum said she felt really bad about keeping me off school because the only thing wrong with me was that I looked bad because of the spots.

Thanks, I'll bear that in mind in case I get it again. I once watched a documentary about alternative therapies and they did an experiment where they did acupuncture while doing an MRI scan of the brain and they found that the brain was actually responding correctly for what the acupuncture was supposed to be doing. In China people actually have acupuncture for operations (even heart surgery) instead of anaesthetic. Apparently it is cheaper and people have better recovery.

Oh yeah chicken pox...I must have been one of the unlucky ones, I was covered head to toe in spots and was completely out of it and delirious with fever for some of the time....I don't remember (I was about 5) but apparantly my mum called a doctor out to the house as I was having hallucinations and shaking!! She was worried it was something other than chicken pox, I have been left with (very faint now) scars on my scalp and forehead.

:eek: Apparently severity is usually related to exposure.

Craig has been out this afternoon and bought plastic pipes! While I was at work this afternoon he's started the job and got a bit done. He's got permanent knee damage though, so he's having to do it in bursts as kneeling on the floor hurts him too much.
