:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Jack does this with his dummy but it goes in the gap between the cot and the cot and I can't reach it!
And that is how I weaned DS2 off the dummy! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
One night I just thought '!!!! it', and left him. He was older though, lil Jack needs his dumdum.0 -
af, I bring Amber into bed with me most morings too about 6am. She usually then has another snooze till about 7.30 when we need to get up anyway. During the night if she does wake, unless she is proper crying, I ignore her. But she does have meerkat and usually you hear her eat-eat meerkat or talking to meerkat or blowing raspberries at meerkat and even one time meerkat must have said something bad cos he got slung out the crib (then she cried because she was sorry and wanted meekat back).
And yes, you do what is best for you and your family.
i wish i could leave LO, but like she did tonight, she gets hysterical and is sick.
she wont just stay in her cot and chatter away or anything, as soon as she's awake (and doesn't settle herself for whatever reason) she immediately stands up and starts crying.
i can't even leave the room for anything. i touched the door this morning as if to go to leave and she freaked out.
i know it's not good, but i dont want to force her into being on her own because i dont want her to think she's not safe or i'm not coming back (i have my own issues with these things)

How big is Jack's room? Are you running a nursery?
I have brought H in to bed a few times in the morning if she has woken before 8. At the moment, she is teething quite badly and seems to be moaning in her sleep a bit, so although she is not awake and I don't need to get up, my sleep is a bit broken. I am not complaining though - it's only a few seconds of either putting my hand on her and she touches it and settles again or popping her dummy in her mouth if she will open it. She is always sleeping though so I normally get a good 8 hours at least uninterrupted.
I have a purple rug up my loft too.
AF - I find this a comfortable bra for a well endowed lady! I also like Freya ones, but looks like my favourite one is no longer available.
I cleared out my underwear drawers recently and I think I counted 165 pairs of knickers and about 70 bras!!!! :eek:0 -

only joking .... i still think it's amazing you can get benjamin to sleep with his elephant over his eyes. my stressy LO would throw it in a fit of rage hehehe
You canOnly if you include a wink!!
LOL - he does throw elephant sometimes and I do have to hold it (not completely over his eyes but kind of shading the light between us when our noses are together IYSWIM.
This morning he woke at 6.20am and I brought him into bed with me for a feed and he took his dummy out and lobbed it - god knows where!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Jack does this with his dummy but it goes in the gap between the cot and the cot and I can't reach it!
In Benjamin's room I ALWAYS have 2 spare dummies (but usually about 6) sat in the top left corner of his changing mat/unit. That way I always just have to reach out and grab another without searching. xxangelfairy wrote: »i wish i could leave LO, but like she did tonight, she gets hysterical and is sick.
