Cant decide what to spend on engagement ring

wow, thanks everyone for all your comments. I am happy with the amount I've spent. Both of us earn good money, don't have children, worked hard getting onto the property market, and save money in lots of other areas. Of course I could spend £200, but its as simple as living within means, and I'm lucky to be able to do that. I also start with the end in mind which is that the ring will last a lifetime, and so I don't want to look back with more money in my pocket in 10 years time and wish I had bought that extra special ring.
I asked my OH already and she said yesand helped me to narrow down the options, so I know she will be happy with it. I think I will make a fuss when it arrives though and ask again with the ring in hand this time. Fingers crossed she won't have changed her mind!
I bet your so excited!! The rings from Samara James are gorgeous I was gobsmacked when I saw it I couldn't stop myself from looking at itI'm still like it now over a month later.

Congratulations! So glad she said yes- it doesn't matter how sure you are, you are always going to be nervous! Well done.0
