Having a real bad time at the mo', think I may have left it too late.
According to my cm, I tend to try ov'ing at around CD15, but sometimes it does not work, and temp shoots up for a day, but come back down.
Then it's another 2 weeks before the proper ov comes.
So what I was thinking was to re-set CBFM if ov fails and start over as CD1:cool:
You haven't left it too late, people conceive well into their late 40s & early 50s.0 -
CBFM arrived at my place in the UK:j:j:j
Ordered Monday, arrived Tuesday. Great service, thanks Ladylegs if you ever see this:p
My sister is sending it over here, fingers crossed it'll arrive before CD6;)
I'm 14DPO, my usual luteal phase is 14/15 days. That's if I got the ov dates right. It may be still 10DPO. In which case, no chance of a baby, since we dtd 5 days before ov:(, but good for CBFM:cool:
Yeay for super speedy delivery :j.
When you thinking of testing?0 -

When you thinking of testing?
I think I'll wait 'till AF shows, unless I get my doc's appointment, in which case I'd test before leaving;)0 -

*hugs* GFH just give it a cycle like people have saidFairyShazza wrote: »I always said I wouldn't get like this, wanting a baby so much but it's odd how it just comes over you and after being pregnant it's become even more apparent to OH and I.You haven't left it too late, people conceive well into their late 40s & early 50s.

So don't let your guard down when you reach menopause...0 -
FairyShazza wrote: »Bless my OH he said he tried looking up on the internet how he can help support me when AF arrives and I get upset. He said that he went on one website written for men by women (he couldn't remember the name) and it said "don't bother trying to support her as you just can't understand how she is feeling and you never will"
It's no wonder that most men just seem to have a clue how to help if thats the kind of advice they find if they do try looking it up!
Fairy, I just wanted to go back to this as I thought how sweet and caring of your OH that was to try and understand what you were going through, what a star:happyhear
I think women really do men (and themselves) a disservice by saying rubbish things like that.0 -

I have the same concerns as you about body temp/heart rate during tww (I'll be 11 DPO on Sun). I have been assured that so long as my breathing feels under control and I keep hydrated there's no reason to worry about it. I'm not out to brake any records so will just walk for a bit if I don't feel right.
Wow, good luck for it. I'm very impressed.
@fairyshazza - thanks for that. Yeah I can see your point of view now as everywhere I've read says see a doc after 6 months.Giz what heart rate are you aiming for normally, did you not get any of that in your induction? (If not collar an instructor and make them measure you!) My fat burning level is 133 at the moment. I have noticed that if I am watching my heart rate as I exercise then it goes down, have to ignore it and only check once or twice.
I'm going to follow the regime I had last time which was created by a Kinetika gym instructor.
5 mins warm up (rower)
stretches
30 - 60 minutes cardio (will work up to the 60) and on weight training days I will do less due to time.
Squats
Crunches
Couple of the weight machines to work on glutes and thighs.
Then with free weights:
Bicep curls
lateral raise
tricep excercise that I don't know the name of. (//edit - this is the one I like: http://exercise.about.com/od/exerciseworkouts/ss/tricepexercises_7.htm)
5 minute warm down on bike.
stretches.
I did this for about 3 months last time and got quite toned around the arms - helped with the flabby bitsand I lost my love handles! I remember not losing any weight (muscle gain I guess), but I lost inches.
As for heartrate - I googled, and looks like 120 is OK for me to burn fat as I'm a beginner.Baby Giz born 6/2/110
