I have the same concerns as you about body temp/heart rate during tww (I'll be 11 DPO on Sun). I have been assured that so long as my breathing feels under control and I keep hydrated there's no reason to worry about it. I'm not out to brake any records so will just walk for a bit if I don't feel right.
Hi oxclairexo
I ran my first 10k a couple of weekends ago - it was brilliant! I was very nervous and wasn't sure I was going to manage to complete it all running, but it was a lot easier than my training runs!
Make sure you eat pasta and chicken the night before, drink lots of water the day before and you'll have a ball!!

Thanks. I'm a bit nervous but looking forward to it. Nice to be focussing on something other than my tww also.
Luckily I love chicken and pasta so that won't be a problem. I'm more worried about what to eat/drink in the morning before the race at 9:30 (stupidly I've never trained that early). Any advice?
Giz.
I think what your doing is much harder. I used to do a programme very similar to yours but the weights always made me feel sick and I was aching/exhausted all the time. Now I just run with a friend 30-60 mins ~ 3 times a week. Hopefully the 10K will take < 1hr20min....then we're off out for a meal later on to celebrate.

My goodness, I'm tired just reading about all this exercise you're doing!
I really should do more, I'm not particularly overweight (not as slim & toned as I'd like to be but my bmi says I'm healthy!) but am getting to the stage where I can barely walk up 2 flights of stairs without getting out of breath! You lot are motivating me anyway, keep up the good work!0 -
Hi everyone :wave:I hope you're all having a good day.
I'm pleased to say that I have already gained something positive from your chat - I am defo going to get off my bum and do some exercise! I can't say I'll be able to rival any of your training schedules and I certainly won't be running 10K  but I have a lovely park nearby so intend to start walking/jogging round that and see if I get bitten by the exercise bug?!
For now, I shall sit here munching chocolate and moaning about AF :rotfl:.
Hubby and I are in surrounded by boxes at the mo as we're moving next week. I'm very excited but as I mentioned when I first introduced myself - I am very impatient!! On the down side my braodband will be off for 10 whole days! I don't know how I'll cope! However it does give you a chance to get some BFPs ready for when I'm back.
Hope you all have a good eve x0 -
Evening ladies:wave: how is everyone today?
My CBFM arrived today, unfortunately though I am on CD7 so I have to wait at least 3 weeks before AF arrives so I can start using it. I can't wait!
So QQuaver it looks like we will be using the CBFM for the first time together:pVirtual sealed pot challenge 2010 member #48~ £72.62:)£10,000 in 2010~ £1177.36/£10,000:DMember of Team CBFM

Evening ladies,
Well, I'm sad to say my CBFM hasn't worked for me for its first cycleAs predicted, I started spotting today and so expect AF tomorrow night/early Thursday morning *sigh*
RE exercise - I joined the Couch to 5k thread and the health board on here, and am currently on Week 8, and am so running 28 min at a time, 3 days a week. It definitely does get easier each week. I have no idea what my heart rate gets to, so may invest in a heart rate watch thing, as I run in the park with my doggie, so no fancy machines
Hope you all have a lovely evening xx0 -

Hi SK. how are you? What's happening with the tests? x
Hey honey,
Well I had my CD3 test last week, I have my CD21 test next Friday and although we were told 12 week waiting list for DH's swimmers to be checked, we got an appt through last week for the 18th June :j so it's moving pretty quickly here. Shockingly, the waiting list is so long as 25% of men don't turn up to "that" appointment!!!
I spoke to my mom on Sunday and something made me remember that she'd had a hysterectomy at 38 but I couldn't remember why. I asked her and it was because she had such bad endometriosis. I've googled a bit and it can be hereditary and I have some of the symptoms so I must remember to speak to the doctor about that next time we go.
In todays news lol, I'm CD8 and have OV'd on day 10 before so we started BD every other day on Saturday. Need to keep going till at least cd16/17 tho as I have OV'd that late before. Have no idea when it will be as I am no longer charting, temping or peeing on sticks! Kinda feels good to not be relying on all that stuff. Didn't do us much good so far did it, so won't do any harm not using it!
Hope your new job's going well Sammy!
