Phunkles (aka nmum), there is no need for you to go. No one needs to leave. We should all be here together no matter if we've got good news to share or just to have a rant that we can't do in RL.

Look, when a bunch of hormonal women get together theres going to be falling outs!! Lets all get over this now and move on please :)
  • Hi all,
    My 2p:
Firstly i think all you ladies are fab and enjoyed reading about whats going on with you all in your ttc quest.

As far as i am concerned this thread will always have natural cycle (no pun intended) as ladies join and leave for whatever reasons. (very happy when they leave for the BFP reasons, very sad when they leave for other reasons)

When new ladies start of course they will ss at every opportunity as for some its the first time they have really paid attn to their body and its changes.

Whenever there is a new influx (which i think is great) there are the same questions and feelings of joy at twinges at the right time and unfortunatley the deflation when af arrives.

I think the experience of the "old timers" is invaluable and would be a shame if they did not participate as much. The reason i think they add so much is their wealth of knowlegde and their level headedness.

However, i also understand the excitement of the newbies as we have all been there and at the start ttc is so exciting and unfortunatley if not successful in the first few months it can be deflating.

I agree that nobody should probably test before af date (not very mse, but lets be honest haven't we all done it) but should be discouraged.

However before this forum i never knew about evap lines and chemical pregnancy and that is where the wealth of experience comes in.

I think we should all work together when we see some ladies wishing to test to early or maybe ss a bit too early we can offer our advice experience and at the end of the day the choice is theirs what they do with that.

What i am trying to say is please nobody leave or feel like they cannot post.

Lets care and share for each other in what can be a stressful time for all!

Massive hugs to all my ttc friends!

    xXx

Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

I'm in the same boat don't forget! My DH is never here either. Sooo, I have to amuse myself (oooh that sounded naughtier than intended). The chances of us conceiving before he finishes his PhD are somewhere in the region of slim and none. But I like being here...keeps me feeling like we are still trying (even though we aren't really!

Phunkles, this is exactly why you should be here. Twinkles (I believe, pls correct me if I'm wrong) is in a similar boat with her OH. It is good to have people to talk over the issues we face, as it can be very hard to talk to people in RL

I'll have it if you don't want it! I was in Superdrug today and uhming and ahhing if I should get one. But I'd spent all my cash and dint want to use a card, so I resisted and said I would treat one the day after my AF due date if it doesn't come! But hang on to it a bit longer in case you want to test again to give you peace of mind.

Twinklie, we crossed posted. My computer is sooooo slow today :(
