Ladylegs my post was not aimed at anyone specifically just the way the thread has been in general of late. I think there's many that have been guilty at some stage or another so really wasn't intended on being personal to anyone.
Twinklie I too am a bitter and twisted old cowbag but nearly 3 years of this cr**p I think I'm entitled to be !;)
My vote would be for lasagne too! I've got 3 homemade ones in the freezer including homemade pasta sheets as well so 100% made by becs! (Dh hates it as he doesn't eat cheese!)
I'm going back to lurking again now so Ladylegs please come back and join the gang as I'm sure you'll be missed. (particually wth 200 post in a month!)0 -
Just want to offer hugs to everyone, we all seem to be a bit out of sorts recently.
MV, I can't watch baby/pregnancy programmes now either, I tried a couple of weeks ago but DH made me turn the tv over because he could see I was starting to get upset.
I do agree with the not testing til AF is due (at the very earliest) - I've done it a couple of times and it's been absolutely heartbreaking, so am only suggesting it to save others from the trauma I went through. In fact, it's very rare for me to even go on the testing list!
AF is well and truly here now, so feeling a bit carp at the moment due to the pain, apart from that, nothing to report!0 -
Sorry ladies...I had sheps pie in the end...the lasagna's were under it! ha ha - I'm so lazy.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

I have religiously read the thread every day as per usual but as im at a loss as to where i am in cycle, i dont know when to expect af after mc or when to test i feel that whatever i type is meaningless and liek im having a whinge instead of being part of this little community if that makes sense?
Stef, my AF arrived yesterday (:j) it says it can take up to 4 and 6 weeks. This AF came excatly a month after i stopped bleeding with mc. So hope you get AF soon(if you want her!)
Oh i was so happy that AF turned up, it does feel like a step forward.
I understand what you mean, i suppose im just feeling a bit 'lost'.
Ladylegs, please dont feel you have to go, i think you already have a 'place' on here.
Dont want any1 to think what ive said will make any1 want to go away and leave this forum, as this forum has helped me through so much and hope it does with you as well.:D0 -
Evening Ladies,
Congrats GFH on your TLP=BFP :j :j
I would scream GIVE ME your second test, but pls keep it for yourself. I know if I ever get pg I would want to do tests for about a week afterwards!!!!
Right, here's my input. I have been on this thread since Oct and am on my 5th cycle. I neither consider myself an old timer or a newbie, so I reckon I have a pretty balanced view! Quaver, I personally like the idea of a "Waiting Room". We all know that we cling to the last bit of hope in order to get that elusive BFP. We all know we've fished pg tests out of the bin after an hour just to double check. Now if I got a TLP, I would be happy about it. I would want to keep positive thoughts, but if it turned out to be a BFN I would still have had that hope regardless. Now I appreciate that is my opinion, and also bearing that I have never even had a sniff of a TLP, let alone a BFP. I genuinely know that Quaver was only trying to help. But maybe let the majority decide if there should be a waiting room or not?
I don't like cliques - I never have and never will. Cliques are what puts off newbies and lurkers. As Primmer rightly says, a balance of newbies and experienced posters is what is needed to get the right advice across whilst also keeping the thread lively and topical. Not to single anyone out, but as an example - I love Ladylegs. I personally find her posts very funny and keeps the thread lighthearted. We all need light relief when TTC talk can become too serious and depressing. I would hate to think that anyone, old or new, is being put off posting.
To end my monologue (vagina natch), lets all pick ourselves up and exude the PMA. We all need everyone to post, and no one to leave until they have got their BFP.
And TTC related, CD11 for me. Dtd yesterday and I am going to be sooooooooooooooooooo positive this month.
Oodles and oodles of sticky baby dust to EVERYONE xxxxx0 -
anyway,
Penny I had a break after my first miscarriage it was june 2008, had some problems with OH for a little while and it changed me forever so I did need more time. We started trying again in april 2009 so had a big gap. I also needed to get past that due date. Now I'm determined we are going to have our third baby its just not going to be as easy as just getting pregnant.
Perhaps I shouldnt be here we are having only the protected kind of Bding but your not getting rid of me that easily, I will be trying properly again as soon as the docs say I can.0 -
Lauralou - im not sure when i officially stopped bleeding or what has gone on. I started to spot NYE then full on bleeding from the following monday, i bled extremelly heavily with continual cramps for two weeks, had a good few days of no loss at all then full on bleeding again. From first day of spotting to last day of any loss at all it was a total of 24 days. Since then i have not bled. I had very bad skin over the past weekend like i do with OV but OPKS have not seen a rise and i have not had my usual night sweats around that time so now taking it day by day. We routinely dtd every other day as this is what we 'settled' into after our lustfull first few months, coming up for 3.5 years together now and nothing has changed. So now playing the waiting game.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together0 -
Awww...I'm sad that so many people feel the need to leave. By rights I shouldn't even be here...but I just can't stand the thought of leaving.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
