vodafone change to world price plan T&Cs

I've got passport and i got the text today....
What is the actual change just to be clear ?
Thanks0 -
this does not apparently apply to passport customers , Applies to every one else
It doesn't apply to Passport - but it applies everywhere else. For countries such as the United States, there is no Passport - you pay Vodafone World rates.
Which, if you normally use a preffered network, are going to increase by 10p a minute.0 -
Vodafone World charges are listed here http://www.abroad.vodafone.co.uk/vodafone-world/
But I cannot see any mention of a change...now or later0 -

I am on an 18 month contract with Vodafone. £35 per month for 300 mins, unlimited SMS and 500Mb internet per month + Vodafone Passport.
I also got a text from Vodafone today - it stated:
"From 1st March we are making some changes to our Vodafone World price plan. For more information call 40050 free of charge"
If this enables a "get out of contract free" clause similar to Orange did last year I bet a lot of people will be very happy!!
I WAS an Orange customer when they increased the out of bundle call charges from 4p to 15p. Even though I had never gone over my bundled minutes I still used my right as a consumer to cancel my contract with immediate effect. I was only 5 months into an 18 month contract and they let me go.... PLUS I got to keep my shiny new Samsung Omnia 16Gb..
If anyone gets a solid result with Vodafone it would be great to know. I have tried to get out of their contracts several years ago when they scrapped internet access from my "extras" bundle - they got out of it by stating it wasnt part of the tariff - it was an extra, so it didnt count....
Good luck everyone....0 -
I'm going to call them again tomorrow and try again. I was with Orange last year when they did this and was able to leave my contract early without penalty. Hopefully I'll be able to do the same here.0

If this doesn't apply to passport why did i get a text today then when i have passport on my price plan ?0
-
So my price plan will remain the same for passport when im in Europe for example but if i go to the US i will be subject to the extra 10p a min ?0

Has anyone had any joy in cancelling yet?0

I am not with Vodafone so cannot thought it would be of interest to others though, suppose we will have to wait for someone to try0
