Don't forget the Mets, they play in Queens at Citifield, which is only 6 or 7 years old. Try the usual Stubhub Ticketmaster sites, and include resales, through the sites they're guaranteed, and given the Yankees are at this point having a losing season you may get a decent deal from a season ticket holder not wanting to go.

That might be true, but you're also looking to who they're playing - Yanks are under .500 right now by I think 2 games, but it's still the Yankees. Then there's the schedule, in June the Angels are in town even the Yankee fans want to see Mike Trout in action, the Tigers are also in town with a similar story for Miguel Cabrera. (I'd avoid 12th June as Old Timers Day will command a huge sum!)

Stub Hub is a safe bet for tickets but beware, I used them in 2009 and wound up in a disabled section looking very bemused. Turns out a lot of people buy the discounted season tickets for disabled fans & resell the tickets & I'm sure that'll still be the case.

The Yankees and Mets don't often play at home at the same time. stupidgirl09 is going to NYC on Monday, and this week the Yankees are at home Mon-Thu against Toronto, the Mets are on the road until Friday, when they start a home series against the LA Dodgers.

The Yankees play a day game on Thursday (4pm start), may be better ticket availability for that.

I bought a parking pass on Stubhub or TM for an Orlando Magic game, don't know why it was $1 cheaper or something. At the garage the scanned it and said the 2nd floor and 5th floor have the most disabled places. Thought odd, why would I need to know that, a bit of to and fro and I just said OK and drove in. Looking at the pass I noticed ADA on it. Assumed buying discounted and selling on, but seems a bit scummy.

Once he's a free agent the Yankees fans can watch Trout everyday :)

I'm 34 (though maybe a young looking 34?!) and generally find I get ID'd about 50% of the time in the States.

My DH is 12 years older than me, so usually when we are together, no one asks!

Has anyone used a three sim in New York? I was thinking of unlocking my phone and getting one (mostly for finding things nearby etc) but want to know what the signal is like.

Also, any apps people would recommend?

I used one recently in NY. £20. No problem with signal for calls or data.

Also used it for cabs using Uber.

I got a three SIM for New York, worked great. Small pointer, make sure you activate the sim for roaming before you go.

There's an app for the subway and think there's one for Rockefeller and/or empire state building that does some augmented reality stuff but it wasn't amazing or anything.

    Hi

I'm going to New York soon and wondered if anyone had any experience of using this site to get discount on attractions. I was looking at City Pass (which i've used before) and the New York Pass (which a friend has used) but then I cam across this whilst searching, which seems to offer better flexibility.

Any help, advice or comments would be most welcome

    Thanks

We are 4 adults, going to NY from 31st March to 7th April next year. We will be staying in Brooklyn flying into JFK. We want to see the 9/11, statue of liberty, empire state, time square and top of the rock, but not sure which of the passes will be the best value....
