Talking of Broadway, I would be grateful for views on possible hotel choices for my summer break.
I am looking at the new Intercontinental Times Square, which is at 44th and 8th, but I can't picture where it is! I know Times Square, and I don't want to be in Times Square (I don't like tourists!). Can anybody give me any clues on what this hotel is near please? I also fancy the Staybridge Suites (fab reviews but can't get a good price), but again am concerned about the location.
My alternative choice could not be further away - the Andaz Wall Street (I am there too early for the Fifth Avenue one). However that will be relying on some tactical Priceline bidding, and nothing is showing up at present.Gone ... or have I?0 -

.
Have you used Google to see exactly where it is? I love it. Go to google, click maps and type in the hotel or address. Zoom in as much as you want, then put your mouse over the orange man and drag him to where your hotel is. You can now look around at street level and move along the roads.Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -

I like the new intercontinental aswell, I was worried about booking it for november incase it wasn't ready on time though.
My other option is the holiday inn on 26th Street, just worried it will be a bit quiet when we go over thanksgiving.0 -
