I'm practicing with the Brooklyn Lager tonight
Google'd the Sixpoint Resin, it's 9% ABV! NYC would be a blur on that stuff.
I've said to her about the limits, never new about the beer quota cheers.
Try the pony bar in hells kitchen...

Boyfriend is taking me to New York in 3 weeks... so excited, will be there for Thanksgiving which will be great, gonna do the usual touristy stuff plus things like ice skating in Central Park and all sorts, hopefully the weather will behave! xxxLife is too short not to love what you do.0

Thanksgiving dinner reservation made, Langans Irish pub & restaurant. Cheap & cheerful at only $34.95 + tax and tip. All I really want is pumpkin pie and a vegetarian option (I emailed) so we're happy with the menu and price. Excited for mac n cheese as a starter!

Also for anyone wanting to go to woodbury, return bus tickets are currently on groupon. Got ours last night, been waiting on this coming back up for ages!

Josie - so you're happy breaking the law? C'mon, the customs officers know better than that, and YOU have to prove you didn't buy them in NYC. It's not clever to advocate theft on an online forum..
Yes, I'm happy with that - that's what I go for. Each to their own, but like people bringing back 2000 fags, yes of course they're for their own consumption! :rotfl:0 -
Has anyone been to Jersey gardens outlet? I've been told it's good, but have read online on tripadvisor that it's just okay, and that woodbury is better. Having been to neither, I'm not really sure whether to go or not. We're definitely going to woodbury, but I was wondering whether it's worth fitting jersey gardens into our itinerary as well.0

I've not done Jersey Gardens, but I have done Woodbury Commons once. However amazing Woodbury is, I just thought it was average at best, and I still find to the day that I can get good bargains on clothes etc in Manhattan regardless.
One thing to remember, a lot of these outlet malls get clothes made for the outlet, and it isn't the same quality or style as you would get in the normal store within Manhattan.
Personally, if you are on a short break, then spend your time wisely, as both do take up a chunk of your time away from seeing NYC, just to go shopping, when you could do both things at the same time in NYC itself.

Airport transfer, could someone confirm I have this right please.
Staying at Doubletree by Hilton Metropolitan on 569 Lexington Ave.
So I take the Airport train to Jamica Station then change here and take the 'E' Train to Lexington E 51st Street.
Just to check as I am a typical worry person, suitcases etc are easy to stow away etc whilst travelling on the train?
And the reverse for return I guess.
As always many thanks0
