    Hi,

Thanks for your replies on my previous post. Has anyone had any experience of a hop on hop off bus tour of New York or could anyone recommed one. I'm looking for a 48 hour hop on hop off tour for a limit of $85. Do you think the bus tours will run as normal over st patrick's day?

I did this one, and would recommend it. My only criticism would be that at points it seems rather slow, but your guide will try to fill the gaps (including audience participation at times!), and some delays are inevitable when travelling by road.

They are real people they volunteer to take tourists around new York for nowt. Also unlike every other person in NYC they aren't allowed to take payment or tips for their service the most they are allowed is a small gift from where you live or a coffee en route. However you need to apply well in advance and there is no guarantee you will get one.

There are 7 of us going in April to celebrate my cousin's 21st birthday. Most of them haven't been to NYC before so I would like to surprise everyone by arranging a stretch limo to take us to our hotel in Manhattan from Newark Airport. Anyone have any advice on which companies to try? Thanks

Maria - I've been to Woodbury Common before and both myself and my boyfriend loved it! We got loads of different bargains in a a variety of shops. Although it cost about $40 to get there, we definitely found it to be great for bargains and a good day out in general. As a lot of others say though, it really depends on what you're after and what you're expectations are.

They have lots of cabin crew who are going to fly, they have asked back cabin crew who previously worked for them and training/trained them up ready so I wouldnt worry too much.
