Mark, I don't know if you've noticed already but there's tickets available for the Daily Show on March 8th right now on the website! ;)

Damn. Missed them. None left already. I think I'll stick with my ticket for the 1st March. I have a gig on the 9th March (Anna Calvi - awesome music) so I'll have to find other things to fill up my time with..

I did watch them go down and it was rather quick! Do you know when they send you the extra information? It said something about another email from them, jsut wondering when we can expect it. We need to decide whether we want to make the time for it or not as I'm a bit worried about how long it takes. Think I read best being there for 3pm, and could be there till 8pm.

Took about 24 hours for my third e-mail to come through. 1 with the link, 2 straight away, then a third.

I've done Colbert, and their cut off in line is at 5:30pm, the Daily Show is 4:30pm, so I'd assume I'll be out by 7pm, as each time I've done Colbert, I've been out by 8pm. I think 3.30 - 4pm is a good time to arrive.

I find it interesting that you say that. I always fly into Newark and have found it so easy to get into NYC from the airport. Leave the airport, jump on the bus directly outside the terminal, get off at Grand Central and walk the couple blocks to the Roosevelt. Job done!

    Agreed
I certainly wouldn't discount Newark -as well as the bus there is the AirTrain into Penn . I've used both and found it no worse than the bus from JFK.
It's a bit like saying discount Gatwick and only look at Heathrow flights.

We-re flying into Newark tomorrow (Can't wait!!). First time to NYC and we're going to either train or bus it into Manhatten. Will report back how it went when we get back :)

Suppose the beauty of the whole of America (& some others)once you land you will find English signs /speakers and you as a visitor wont be embarrased to ask "how to" questions . I have wandered some parts of the world looking for someone i think may be able to understand me Central France for example one time in a small village couldnt find one person that admitted to understand English only need directions and some food. Ended up with a 12euro map and chips with ice-cream. USA once you land get your bearings find your cases hit the exits if you dont know just ask.
