Just re-booked for January next year, got returns from Man £390.
I know its gonna be cold anyone been that time of year?Official MR B fan club, dont go............................0 -
We were there this January gone. It was hovering a little above zero, if I remember rightly. I had my scarf and gloves and was fine. It had snowed a week or two before but it was all gone in the city by the time we arrived. I didn't mind too much that it was cold, because it was gloriously sunny. From Starrystarrynight to Starrystarrynight1 and now I'm back...don't have a clue how!0

Heading over to NY in November and the sports fan in me is planning on taking in a game during my stay.
I'm expecting ticket for the Jets / Giants to be like the proverbial rocking horse excrement because of the new stadium and baseball isn't really my bag. Angry Canadians fighting each other on the other hand sounds like my kind of evening so I'm looking at the NY Rangers at Maddison Square Garden.
What are the chances of getting tickets and where is the best place to get them? Looking online, it seems that the main selling point are the "seat exchanges" but I'm not convinced at using those for a transatlantic sale. Has anybody tried getting hold of tickets for something like this before?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Does anyone know if you have to remove a money belt from your person before going through the metal detector thingy in security?
( it's a soft fabric one with a plastic zip I think)
Would the money make the machine sound off?
I am a bit concerned about taking off my secret cash stash in public and then having to sling it on to the box with my other stuff.
Would it be safer to just put it in my hand luggage until I go through security?
Ideas please?0 -

Think you'd be safer with it already in your hand luggage, coing and possible any metal on bag will likely set alarm off. Plus if you remove it at secruity everyone will see it and it'll not be so 'secret' anymore.LBM 03/07 £44k:eek: DFD 31/12/17 :A 12/17 £2545.50
