That said I don't think the attacks on the original poster are justified or in the ethos of the board either - seeing some poor advice followed was the stated reason for making the suggestion and I'm quite prepared to accept that because some advice I've seen given is pretty poor (imo at least). That said most that is downright wrong or dangerous usually gets challenged along the way.
Really appreciate your concern and points. Im thick skinned and I asked a question. If the solution is in attack, thats okay.

I have read posts on here that in general have some good solutions for people. Then they seem to lose their path because people didnt read the problem correctly.
This is my point.
What makes you think that people are not going to lose there path or read your post correctly,do you explain it a lot differently to the other established people on here?
Point made i think.Forum spellcheckers are the pitts.0 -
The British people would rather place their trust in free unqualified assistance then free qualified assistance. When all the niceties are removed, this is the result.
But would the "free" qualified assistance be free?
I asked you this question already, your business already offers a paid service would you offer it to this board for free then?
This site is designed to be free thats why I joined and thats why I have tried to help people. Nothing changes. I would certainly provide my quals howver useless they may or may not be.
Free is free and when I can I would be very honoured to help outComputers are like me, I get up in the morning and work...until I stop.0 -
Just close the thread i say, its just being repeated over and over. No one is interested in certified users who have a certificate that says I can support desktop users and applications.0

Thats the point I thought you were making which is why I am still confused because it doesnt answer my question.
A thread populated by 20 good answers and 10 suggestions that have little relevance to the thread title can for many be confusing.
Take the 10 suggestions away and you have just 20 good answers. No matter what the qualification or thread topicComputers are like me, I get up in the morning and work...until I stop.0 -
I think it answers your question quite adaquately, what makes you think that the people who you are trying to help will not lose there path in the same way that you suggested they do with others.Forum spellcheckers are the pitts.0

The techie forum here at MSE is not exactly the top priority is it? I don't think MSE would use human resources to verify I.T qualifications. Even if they did, how many people do you think would submit their qualifications to MSE?0
