lisele wrote:Dellybelly Could you pass on the recipe for the Quorn chilli pasta bake? It sounds delicious.
Lisele and Honey - it's done! I've put it on the recipies thread but have no idea how to add it to the index, so sorry you might have to hunt for it!
It makes loads - hope you enjoy it!

Hey all. I REALLY appreciate all your kind words and support. I've stayed the same this week which could be worse and i'm trying to remind myself in my pre-diet life i probably would have made a huge gain as I wouldn't try and control the damage caused by a few days of binging!
So many posts to reply to today! Sorry if it's a little confuddled - i've got brainache trying to remember what everyone has said!
Honey That's a very sweet offer but I think i'll soldier on for now
Monkeylugs Congrats on losing the 2. Don't feel bad on being your first week. Some people lose more, some don't. Just stick with it- that's the most important part!
Katie I hate it when that happens. I keep meaning to stick a post it note to my head that reads 'always check the syn value!' Don't worry about it. At least you can learn from this little mistake0 -
Delly Yoga sounds good. Is it easy to follow and pick up?
Minerva 4lbs is awesome. Get that slimmer of the week certificate stuck to your fridge immediately!
JenPop Have a lovely birthday tomorrow. If you have the naughty food make sure you thoroughly enjoy it before getting back to the healthy eating!
Rachel Hope Brazil was ok. It sounds like you're having to work very hard to stick to the diet but you're totally managing it!
Emszi Welcome and good luck with the pre-baby preperation!
Kiwi I've still got another 5 stone to lose to reach my healthy weight. It's a long way to go but we'll get it off bit by bit!
Eels Sounds like a good plan! Make sure you don't weigh in more than once a week though (those scales can be decieving otherwise!).
Lis Ta for your point about the size differences! My OH has also pointed out that even if i haven't reached my target by the time we go out, i'll still probably be slimmer than most americans anyway(no offence to american readers!)

Try the new Shape 'surprisingly satisfying' range of yogurts. I read in the last SW mag that they're Syn free and they're just delicous. Almost mousse-like in consistency0 -

Good morning everyone!
I'm feeling super-pleased with myself today. I stuck to my food plan and did my run yesterday.
Consultant: Thanks for the encouragement. I do sometimes feel quite silly "running" because I'm so big and go so slowly. So I spend a lot of time thinking "but I'm doing it and that's what matters."
Eels: I'm in a similar position with a similar history. I'm 5'4" and I figure 10 stone is a healthy weight for me. I'm currently 16 stone. So I'm trying to lose 6 stone. I'm slimming for my health, self-esteem, and because I desperately want to be a normal weight for my wedding in January. So far (day 3), I'm finding it helpful to start my day by reading through the posts on this board. It puts me in the right frame of mind and everyone is so supportive and friendly.
Dellybelly: Thanks for posting the recipe. I haven't had a chance to look for it yet this morning but I look forward to finding it and making it. It sounded yummy.
Rachel: You've done really well planning ahead for eating in Brazil. I think I might have given up and just indulged myself (probably why I am 16 stone). Well done.
Have a good day! Will be checking in again tomorrow morning. Take care. lisele0 -
Ooooh this is a lovely thread already, everyone's so nice!
Well, I am feeling ok about this today - steady does it - and it's great to know there are others online in the same boat. Today started very virtuously with strawberries, plain yoghurt and a sprinkling of sunflower seeds - and I'm going out for a walk shortly. Hopefully I can get myself into a nice routine before going back to work next week.
I am not sure whether to weigh myself today so I can work out if I lose anything by Monday (that's when many of you weigh in, isn't it?). A week and a half seems a long time to wait before getting a result!
JenIttels I agree about those yoghurts, they're lush!0 -
Thanks for the recipe Delly. Cheekymole does the index so dont worry about that.
For those looking for Delly's recipe heres a quick link to it (scroll down to bottom of page)

Hi All
Feeling a bit bettter after the doughnut incident yesterday and when I go out for lunch today I am going to have a parma ham salad. It does have creamcheese on it and avocado but I won't have any cake.
I love your comment consultant about only buying fruit cake because you hate it that is great. My OH came home last night with 3 packets of GU Choclate Truffles with raspberies deserts. That is 6 pot each contains 250 cal and I love them so that was v unfair I thought.
Rachel: is doing well for planning ahead might try something like that when I go away next week. I could always keep a cool box plugged into the car for the journey that way I would avoid the blasted petrol station sandwishes, which I don't like anyway. Morning all, I go away for a day and soooooo many posts to read, its amazing!
Firstly can someone please give me a kick up the A$%&
Secondly As always well done you losers and maintainers! I put on 1lb this week, but I guess its my holiday playing catchup. I have been back in the gym twice this week and I plan on going tonight as well as getting in there on Saturday.
Rachel - If your flying back today from Brazil, I hope the travelling goes ok, theres a major terror alert on in the UK, barely anything is been allowed to be taken on the plane after 18 arrests overnight. As its effecting all flights leaving the UK, it might have a knock on effect for your flight home? https://www.bbc.co.uk
Honey - Im not sure whether I can add any more to what has already been written by the other posters, its not fair.
Eels and emszi - Welcome to the happy club, keep posting away and the ladies and gents of this thread will do their upmost to keep you going!
Jenpoptab - How do you find the Boots machines, do you find them pretty accurate? Happy Birthday for Friday :bdaycake: Whatever happens a birthday deserves a treat :T
Minerva - Congratulations and well done on your loss :j
Monkeylugs - Great journeys start with a small but sigificant step, well done.
Consultant31 - 5lb in a fortnight is top scoring!!
Lisele - Dont worry too much about the running, I still can only manage fast walking in the gym, I try to break it up with 1 min jogging, 2-3 mins walking. I doubt I will ever manage a full 15-20 min jog. But the main thing is to increase your heart rate and lift it into what is known as the fat burning zone. This is between 60 and 70% of your maximum heartrate. Your maximum heartrate is calculated as been 220 minus your age (226 for females)
Im sorry if I have missed anyone out, its not intentional.
Keep up the good work.Proud Member of the Lose Weight Thread on I Wanna..................
