    Sankeygirl,
I know exactly how you feel. I too fly a lot all over the place and get lumbered with airline food (sometimes for 12 hours at at time) and going out with clients or being stuck with hotel food. I'll actually be away for 2 weeks in August (one in Brazil and one in Prague - sounds good I know but flipping hard work and boring sometimes) and have no clue what a dieting veggie should eat there. I'm doing SW and on planes I always pre-order Asian Vegatarian meals so you nearly always end up with a veggie curry and bolied rice, friut and yoghurt. Sadly no cakes!

    Cheers

Minerva - lost a lb well done.

Delly - mmmm I had committed to loose 8lbs this month but have stayed the same- so frustrated with myself I know what to do and how to do it but I am one of these people that finds it so difficult to stick to my plan in the summer, especially over the last few weeks, as it has been so hot I haven't wnated to eat the food I have planned and have ended up snacking instead. This month i am gonna commit to 4lb as I am on holiday for 2 weeks and if I can loose 4lb before I go and then stay the same when away I will be happy.

Rachel - 1 stone 3lb is doable with SW. I am sure you will enjoy the plan and if you have any questions ask away there are lots of SW members on here always able to help.

Skanky - you may not have done too much damage if you have been sticking to your plan the rest of the week - think of it as a flexible syn day (if you are doing SW) and then quickly forget it and get back in to the plan - Davina and salad sounds like the perfect combination - enjoy!!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Skanky is about right!:D

Not doing sw moira I know it works for some people as does ww but I have a real problem with words like syns must admit - I know they spell it differently:rolleyes: but for me its still saying foods are sins and I cant get my head around that. "Im going for the what I put in - needs to be used" diet in other words eat less and excersise more:D

Rachelmk - you didnt used to live in leamington spa did you? (going mad but im sure i may have met you:cool: ) Stayed in Prague Hilton this year - one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in hope you enjoy your trips even though they are work

Right then, was going to post last night but Mr Fritha forced me to watch an episode of Stargate Altantis instead!

Suggs, well done on having a lovely holiday and sayign those three little words *gets all overcome* it's so sweet!

Rachel: CheekyMole is cheif kick up the bum lady as far as I can tell but you don't to be doing too badly, as people keep saying to me (and I keep trying to listen) just put it behand you and eat as heathily as you can.

Honey: I hope things are going well with your house, I've got things crossed for you

All: Um, I don't really know how to ask this, but what do you mean by you star week on the SW plan? I figure it's something to do with the lady monthlies but what about them and how does it effect your eating?

Sankey - dont be too hard on yourself. As Moira says put it down to flexible syns and start over again from today. It shouldnt have done too much damage if you have been ok the rest of the week.

Delly - I set a target of 7lb for the month and have lost 6, I'm pleased with that. I have 4 weigh ins for August and a 30th party in the middle so I am setting myself a target of 5lb this month.

Have had a rough few days but still havent given in and eaten the turkish delight! Quite pleased with myself. I did have a cream bun in work yesterday but it made me quite ill and has put me off them! I dont think that I have eaten enough so far this week (sw-ers will know what I mean). I'm just too stressed .

Good luck to everyone. Good to see the sun shining again today.

0.5lb off this week, which I'm hoping is due to the quiche incident and not the no count WW diet which I'm finding a lot easier than the points plan.

More exercise this week as trying to go the gym more.
Hope everyone is doing well :)

Last night was buffet night, when members are encouraged to either cook something or bring something bought that is low syn for us all to try.

A member of class made a lovely baked lemon cheesecake with Quark, it was delish!

I think that the recipe was:

    8oz Quark
    1 egg, beaten,
    Splenda to taste,
A whole lemon, juice and zest,

Blend all together and bake, can't remember how hot or for how long! I thought that sultanas would be a good addition to it too.

Any ideas if this sounds right? And how long, how hot to cook it for?

    Thanks!

Fritha - star week is when Aunite arrives, or you have the painters in, to use other euphenims, or in other words, the week when you have your period. Some woman find that the suffer fluid retenion or get extra hungry.

Lydia - I have my own little fruit basket on my desk at work, and a packet of Ryvita minis or Ryvita breaks in my drawer for when I get the munchies, I find it helps.
