I can recommend baby new potatoes slightly boiled, then roasted with fry light and cayenne pepper - or just sea salt. (roast 35 - 40 mins.)
Yum Yum!0 -
Thanks C31.
I have decided to ask to see the dietician at my drs surgery, and use that info in conjunction with what I've learnt at SW so far. I didn't really have £25 a month to spare in the beginning - but knew I was getting something from it. (Forcing me to stick to it really.) Every penny is going to be needed now, as I'm self employed, and will only get gvt money while not working! I thought, that if I kept following this forum, and then weighed at boots once a month, I could be as sensible as possible. Losing the weight in four to six weeks sounds very appealing.0 -
Have you any other kids cathy or is this your first pregnancy? Tell me to mind my own business if you want!:D
I put on roughly the same with each of my pregnancies. The difference with DS was that I didnt lose it afterwards so when I was pregnant with DD I was the same weight that I was when I was 9 months pregnant with DS
DH reminds me that when we met I was a petite size 8  Thats a dim and distant memory :rotfl:0 -
Thanks for the welcome guys. I am on Weight watchers fololwing the full choice programme. I've not been doing it long but REALLY REALLY want to be successfull this time. I used to be 12 stone but 3 visits from the
in the space of 2 and a half years  has left me at what is currently 16st 05lbs. I did suffer with postnatal depression after pregnancies number 2 and 3 and the medication I had for that helped me to add more weight.
I do struggle with it most days, as I'm sure do others, and am hoping that chat and support on this forum will help me to keep on track with it this time.
I have a week away next week which will prove difficult but its the first since my eldest was born in 02 so I am going to enjoy it.
I will be sure to make this forum my first visit when I'm back,

Hi Lois,
Yes, the cheese was on pasta.
I did weight the chicken and it was skinless. The only fat that it and the veg were cooked with were frylight

Hi Fritha - sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but unfortunately the weight you lose by giving blood is regained within 24 hours! The body restores fluid balances from whatever you drink. I used to give blood and wanted it to have an amazing impact on the scales too, but it's short lived.

Hi Delly - I thought you would be doing it right.
It always pays to check though - there was a woman at my SW class who couldn't seem to shift the pounds even though she was convinced she was doing everything right. One night there was a discussion about how some of the SW rules don't quite make sense, such as fruit being free, but not fruit juice. She couldn't hold back her surprise - she thought orange juice was free, and she'd been drinking a litre of it everyday!

Drink at least eight glasses of water a day. It's easy to confuse thirst with hunger. When you think you're feeling hungry, try drinking a large glass of water first.Start BMI - 38.7 Current BMI - 31.2 Target BMI - 26.30
