    Hi everyone,

Ok, day 2 following SW and I need to know am I doing this right cos it doesn't seem right eating so much and still having a weightloss result at the end of the week. On green again by the way!

Breakfast was the porridge oats (heB) mixed with natural yoghurt and berries
Snack was a muller light yoghurt and an apple
Lunch was yesterday's pasta dish warmed through again (heA) - totally stuffed after this:D
Snack on grapes this afternoon & banana
Dinner was roasted chicken with mediterranian veg , sweet potatoes and bbq sauce cos it's a bit dry (2syns)

THEN I had 2x penguin bars (6 syns each:eek: ) with a cup of tea (milk=heA).(that was how I dealt with sweet craving thursdays)

I PROMISE I haven't left anything out... are you sure it's going to work??????:o
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.

I know you're away at the time of me posting this, but what do SW do about pg members? I'd like to make sure any weight gain is a healthy one, but in a :money: way, I kind of object to paying £4.25 a week to gain weight!!!!!

Would be very interested in your answer.

Reason to lose weight # 26. To not have to think up some excuse for not doing something because you know your weight will impede you.

Hi I'm new to this thread and thought it was time I joined! I had been kinda avoiding because I keep telling myself the reason I've been doing my excericse is to keep fit.. I lie it's to lose weight too!!

Anyhoo.. my story is extremely relevant to the quote!!! Infact the reason for me to lose weight.. I've booked me and the bf on a indoor sky dive in October.. and 1st 4lb OVER the maxium weight and I thought I best sort myself out! Now I've ditched 2+ litres of full fat coke A DAY! And live on sugar free squash, I make sure I take my vitamins etc.. and have tried to stick to sensible eatting during the week (Weekends are my treat!).

I get weighed every 11 weeks so can't join the 2lb club as I wouldn't have a clue!!! Last weigh in on 6th June I had lost 9.5 lbs (in my sig) and next is on 22nd August I was hoping to be 18st 1lb (just out the sky dive limit) but I had a weekend way a few weeks back and sneaky peeked on some scales and I was only just over my target then! So I'm really looking forward to my weigh in should be a nice surpise! I haven't lost weight since this year always gained and it feels good to think about myself abit more then I did!

Anyways... I haven't concentrated on food too much as I said still eat what I want at weekends but I like to be strict in the week. I work evenings so eatting dinner as a suitable time can be really hard which is half the battle! I was taking salads to work for lunch but there just too time consuming to make (or I'm lazy!!) so I've fallen in to buying premade which I know is bad!

After reading a thread about bad white/bleached pasta I purchased some wholemeal rice and pasta, so I look forward to giving them a swirl.

Sorry to drag on.. i will defo be an avid reader from now on!!:D

Hi folks - back again at last and the proud owner of a new(ish) computer. Must have been a while as this thread wasn't even started last time I could log in!. Poor start to the new me, I'm afraid - I have regained my measly 2.5lb lost on the 2lb club, and added a further 3 to it!!

    Will start again on Monday.......

Maybe I will get the chance to read all the bits I have missed out on over the weekend. Until then, nice to be back (even as tubby as I feel right now - all self inflicted but that does not help much either, does it?)

Hey k9cuddles! Welcome to the thread. Alot of us here are following plans so you may have to excuse all the discussion over reds and green days, points and syns!

It sounds like you're doing very well already but why do you have such specific weigh ins (just out of interest)?

I've just started eating wholemeal pasta and trying to cut down on the white stuff as i think i've heard fibre helps weight loss plus, as you say, it's just better for you!

How do you base your meal choices? On calorie content? Fat content? It must be very hard going it alone...but this thread makes it mildly easier!!

Katyk: What went wrong?? Don't give yourself a hard time about it either way - just make sure you get yourself back into it.

Dellybelly: your plan sounds fine except i've no idea whether having the chicken for dinner is ok. Are you following the mix and match thingey plan? Excuse my ignorance - i know nothing about the meat aspect of the diet!

JenIttels.. good to see you again!! lol.. Meals are based on what I fancy!!! Not good I know! I mean I used to have a glass of coke instead of eat as I was too tired or it was too late! Having a meal is just good for me, I did start meal planning using my slow cooker, but kinda gone out the window as hot weather has come!!!

Well a few people at my work are on WW, but I've never got into any of it. I think just picking up a few hints and tips from you guys will be enough for now! :)

Incidentally I put on half a lb this week. Was a bit narked at the time because it's just another thing that seemed to go wrong on wednesday (don't ask -was just one of 'those' days).

Am feeling fine and dandy about it all now but will try a little harder this week so that the scales will be safe next week. Damn them! :D

Have a good week all - good luck with weight losses and wine-resistance and baby preperation. :)
