Thanks for your congratulations messages, I'm very pleased with my loss . I may even treat myself to a fake bake next week to celebrate my new figure and the fact that I'm going to a wedding. The following week I may even look at having one of those body wraps for my birthday present to myself.WW Gold Member, trying to maintain !!!Hayden born July 07Tabitha born April 05Poppy born July 030

Hi everyone - hope you're managing to keep cool and not succumbing to the call of the magnum! I've forgotten how many syns they are on SW but I remember being suitably shocked - shame I found out after eating one.
Suggs - have a great holiday. Your girlfriend should be well impressed with the upgrade.
Well done Jenpoptab - what's a fake bake?
Katypoppycat - enjoy Wagamama. I've been twice but I can't remember what I had and can't remember anything on the menu to recommend. The food is lovely so enjoy it. I think the 7 day menu plans have syns built into them, once you start devising your own menus you can decide what synned foods you can and can't live without. People use their syns in different ways, if you're a chocoholic you'll probably want to keep as many for chocolate as you can, by keeping your meals as syn free as possible. I used to keep my syns for alcohol, but then cut right down on that and used syns for those little things that make a difference to a meal, like mayo on salad, marmalade on my toast, ketchup on SW chips... yum!
Dellybelly - how was your first day? Not feeling hungry, I hope. A tip for future reference - Bovril is free on SW, and can be used in place of a stock cube. To be honest though, you do have 15 syns to play with, so the addition of something that makes a meal a bit more palatable is worth a syn or so - if you shared it, you share the syns too!
Jenittels - those lollies sound really nice, I think I'll have to get some! I think your logic for attending Rosemary Conley while doing SW is fine, and if it works, why not? I decided to do RC because of the exercise, and to start with I wasn't going to follow the diet, and I'm not following it religiously - I can't abide all that calorie counting! What I'm doing is their no count version, so basically keeping my fat intake down, watching my portion sizes, and buying low GI foods as much as possible. I'm still doing a lot of the things I was doing on SW - I think it became a habit! For example, I weigh portions of breakfast cereal, bread and potatoes, and I only have small portions of meat or fish, so if I was to translate that into a SW diary, they would fit into healthy extras or free food one way or another. I allow myself a glass of wine most evenings, but apart from that I don't have any other treats - I've given up chocolate, and never buy biscuits, cakes or crisps. I have fresh fruit and low fat yogurt as snacks.
Well that's my two pennorth for now - I'll be back later to post a TFTD!

Does anyone have a SW menu diary type thing which is online or can be printed? I know we got a few when we joined but I have used/lost them. I am trying to be good and write down everything and its so much easier when its all laid out for you He's, syns, etc. I could do one myself but am too lazy!!
As Lois said, How are you getting on today Delly??0 -

It's always nice when you get away with it, but it pays to be extra good because sometimes it doesn't show at the scales until the following week. Well done for maintaining.

First day was great:j . I was a bit hungry this morning at tea time so had a muller light yoghurt with some fruit to fill me in till lunch. The rice thing didn't work out as well as I'd hoped:think: . I think there was too much rice to too little stock cube and I'm not really all that fond of chickpeas and blackeyed peas. It probably would have helped if I had fresher veg rather than the grotty left over ones that you're not quite sure what to do with cos it's too bloody hot to make a casserole.
However, the pasta dish was a roaring success as always! I added in some quorn mince for a bit of extra flavour and let it "rest" this afternoon before I baked it in the oven to warm it through for OH. I made so much I might take some into work tomorrow for my lunch. I guess I need more practise at making lunchtime rice dishes... maybe chicken or ham would make it taste better.
Went to Tesco this afternoon and got loads of fresh fruit and veg but made sure I got a good variety. Spent £40:eek: - but not eating as much rubbish so I know I'll be fine
I did get a really good recipie for breakfast from ww magazine last month which should just work out as a heB choice. 28g of porridge oats mixed into low fat natural yoghurt (let it soak overnight) and add fruit/sweetner to your taste. It really is more that one person can eat but it's so filling and should keep me satisfied till lunchtime. - So that's breakfast and lunch sorted out. Dinner is going to be my nigella dish (easy for OH to make as he's off work). It should work out free except for the roast chicken, which will be a heB! I don't mind keeping an eye on my healthy extras and I really didn't feel like I needed too many syns today. :j Tomorrow will be the test as thursday night is my sweetie craving night! I love the fact that I can allow myself a treat and not feel guilty about it either!:T
Phew ! really long post, think I'll go now and have my hi fi bar and a cuppa (and give someone else a chance to get a word in edgewise)!:rotfl:Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0
