I'm doing the free 7 day trail before i sign up with SW, it's going pretty well so far! Howver, I'm off to wagamamas tonight ( free meal courtesy of mse tip) and i don't want to totally blow things out of the water. I don't have access to details of syns and healthy extras and stuff. I'm having a green day today, i've had yoghurt, all bran and raspeberries for breakfast, then home made coleslaw and potato for lunch and yet more fruit. I was going to have grilled duck dumplings and chicken ramen for my tea, no alcohol. Will this fit? I really don't want to throw the whole thing off when i feel like i'm doing well, but i don't want to 'waste' this free meal!0

katie I've been to wagamamas a couple of times on SW and have been fine. I often have the yasai yaki soba (i'm vegetarian) as it's all noodles and veg really (though cooked in a fair amount of fat!). I'm not sure how much meat they serve in their meals which may push you over your healthy extra allowence if it's alot.
To be on the safe side you could just have the ramen and either skip or share (if you're desperate to have some!) the dumplings.
Good call on the no alcohol decision though!0 -

Suggs, have a won-der-ful holiday - so jealous! My folks were in Dubai last year and loved it, I would love to go. And what lovely surprise for your GF with the upgrade. Any romantic proposals while you are away???? Enjoy the break and forget about the diet while you are away!
Well done jenpoptab, thats a great loss. I reckon I've lost about a stone today in sweat its soooo hot! :rotfl:
Katie - cant help with waggawotsits - we dont have that over here in NI so no idea of the type of food. Enjoy your meal though - you can always use flexible syns and be good the rest of the week.0 -
I've been very good today. Lots of fruit and salad. I am 1/2lb off a stone (again -same stone :rotfl:) and I worked out last night that if I lose 2 1/2lbs then I will have lost the stone and got to club 10 - i think, it was late and the old grey matter was tired!
Dont know what to have for dinner - am still undecided on the type of day, could still do either. I had salad for lunch and don't know that I could face it again tonight. Its too hot to cook though, any ideas/inspiration?0 -
honey, i like your flexible syns idea! As i've had no syns so far this week - i don'[t really know what counts as the 7 day plan doesn't tell you - i may just go down that route. The duck dumplings are deep fried so i;ll try to resist but they are my favourite thing in the world so i deserve a treat. Maybe i'll combine your advice and go for the yasai yaki soba that jenittels recommended.
thanks guys, much appreciated0 -
Well done indeed Jenpop!!!
Hope you have a lovely hols suggs - the suite and butler sound blummin fabulous.
Honey, the best way to keep cool whilst making dinner is to get someone else to do it and go and sit in front of the fan yelling instructions at them. don't yell too much in case it makes you hot though.0 -
Sounds like a good plan, except I prefer the version where I have a glass of wine in my hand while I shout instructions :rotfl: :rotfl:0
