How much water for the gammon, Eels? I don't put water in my slow cooked stews because since there is no evaporation it becomes watery anyway.
I put just enough to cover it.

Why not have a cup of hot chocolate options -they are only 2 syns a sachet and should help with the craving. If not, allow yourself a bar of chocolate and count it as syns. As long as you can stop at 1 bar you will be fine so maybe its best to give in and have one, perhaps this will stop the urge to buy about 5 and eat them all on one go (yip, been there, done that!!)
    Good Luck!

will you be able to limit yourself to a small bar? I find it hard to resist buying lots when i'm that desperate but you may have better will power!

If you can, just take 35p with you and buy something small (and check the syns before you go!). If you need chocolate, then you need chocolate but don't eat so much that you'll regret it afterwards!!

    And enjoy it :D

ok, so 3.5l is too small. Will have another look and see what else there is. I leave the house about 8am and am home by 3. If DH is not working late we eat around 630/7pm. Am i best to put on slow cooker when I go to work or when I get home - sorry for the silly question - I'm not quite convinced my house wont go on fire while I'm out!!

Just found a batch of syn free curry in the freezer so am going to defrost it and have it over SW chips for tea. I almost wish it was tea time already!
I had one of the Ainsley Harriot pasta bowls for lunch today (similar to pot noodle) The spicy tomato one is free on green! Very filling too.
  • I know I can limit it to one bar. but I'm afraid I've already eaten a penquin biscuit. and a reduced fat digestive. I feel like I've been possessed. how many syns is in a m&s marange? I may have one with stawberrys and fat free yogurt. I'm not even hungry. I'll try and get the 99 calarie chocolate bar. that should satisfy me.
    HOW MUCH ?

  • Alyssa - if you give in, at least walk to the shops and back (the long way if it's close). Then at least you're getting some exercise to mitigate it.
