Triker - I love your suggested car's name - we need more Millicents about the place (she was a much adored older auntie here).
Lil-me - Here the statementing criteria is based on how many years you are below the norm for your age. DS is halfway to what they need, but I refuse to let him go further down. Plus his frustration level is now so high, and behaviour traits getting so bad...we all need to get him some help. And yes I know Dyslexia Action - had the initial assessing done with them, and hopefully tutoring there too - it's just the cost that is so  He's an exceptionaly bright boy so knows what's different with him from his friends and so badly wants to read. He'll get there - just the rocky path just now is hard on all of us.
Flying - well not a lot so far this afternoon/evening, but have sorted out car insurance so something I suppose - but now starting a HHI or two.
thanks ladies for your support as always
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Please say, as I've been told recently that I over use them, and have offended people (well one person
) in so doing
Pen pen - big hugs love :kisses3:. It seems like you're being bullied. You don't overuse smilies in my view. And that one person who's been offended can, quite frankly, stick smilies up their own backside and get a life!
There, I've probably used more smilies than I have ever done in one short para.... xxxI went from senior management to basic admin, just so I had a job...
I know exactly what you mean Jo xx. It was interesting the training I did this week. The five of us, it seemed, were not the normal sort of recruit. We were all from quite high level backgrounds training for what could be perceived as a job beneath us. The difference was, I think, that we all were determined to to SOMETHING rather than roll over and do nothing because there's nothing out there at the moment for our particular trades.
Have had NN over for gin and gossip. We've also had an unexpected snow shower - not much at all but, totally unexpected.
I have been out shopping, have flown some more but have not yet done my tax return. I WILL do it tomorrow.
Oh - is anyone else having issues with the "find last post by" feature? I only get posts from others up to yesterday...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Had my visit to osteo and have been given some exercises to do morning and night to try and help loosen me up. Have been banned from doing anything that is too strenuous or that will cause me any more issues.
I wasn't feeling too bad so had a quick clean and tidy up, hmm, now I am starting too feel like I have done a bit too much
Hopefully I should start to feel the benefit of the osteo tomorrow and can get more done - that or rope in DH to help

cyclingyorkie - That's really good for your DD, I can't imagine not being able to get out and about, just struggling with my back atm is driving me crazy so I can imagine how good she is feeling after such an acheivement.
Triker - My first car was a Micra, I called it Matt Tricky after the name of one of my favourite Ice hockey playersbut I would decide against that nowadays, I quite like Maurice (for a boy micra) and Milly (for a girl micra)
Lady-Liberty - Have a lovely rest with your friend, take time out for you
hex2 - Hope the ashes scattering goes ok, or as well as it can. I know sometimes it can be as sad as the funeral x

Hex, it's going to be cold so comfort, warming food. Lasagna? Wholesome veggie soup with warm bread, shepherd's Pie? Or have you got to take the food with you? Hope all goes well and that it is not too windy (that is really not meant to be a joke, just being practical
)
Time to get DS3 up to bed before my second glass of wine. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
